Morning all.
Nearly froze my nuts off this morning taking Cooper out for his morning potty break! -17 before the windchill when we got up...brrrrrr.

Nice short visit from my Brother last night. He dropped in and stayed the night on his way into the Aurora area today.
His first time visiting our house. Cooper got to meet a new family member, and did amazing well and behaved(ish). Only took him 15(ish) minutes to calm down enough that we wasn't knocking things over with his excitedness and Mach 1 tail .

Well, TGIF. Work..then home.

@avoncallingu Blue Friday is when Sobeys and Foodland have lots of AM attached to certain products. Never did it before but it’s tempting to me this time because the have the Brailia Ready Padta for $2.00 and there is 50AM wub2 and if you have the $1.00 coupon it’s a better deal either way it not costing any OP when you factoring the AM you will receive. Hope I explain this. @walkonby May know better than I do may be

Good morning!!!

Not a busy day, cold, but it's winter, so meh....hateful as usual.

Off to the kids' house for dinner, but prior to that I'm to go through all the "junk" they're throwing out. What they throw out isn't junk...it's just stuff they don't want anymore, so I"m going to rescue the good stuff for St Vincent de Paul along with what I'm also donating. Our DD and I are going to go through all her jewellry also, her fashion jewellry, and I"m going to grab the items she no longer wants or isn't her style. So....fun times. Hahaha!!

Good morning, folks! Rushed around "tidying" so the new cleaning helper wouldn't turn me down out of principle. They arrived late, which was fine, but she won't be able to start until the end of Feb. I can't sleep on that pull-out sofa until then!

I am hoping that my US cheque arrives today, which would mean that maybe I don't have to venture into the States to prove that I am, indeed, still alive. But now, with the shutdown of services in the States, no one is answering their international phone line. (Not that they did very often even when they WERE supposedly working.)

My cough is back today. So, I had better slow down!

Nice and sunny out there but very cold. At least the wind wasn't blowing when I took Tootie out this morning.

Sobey's deals are not enticing me to venture out but thanks for the explanation, @flemeth and @walkonby .

Did my weigh in today at 276.6 lbs. In May 2018 I started at 340lbs..

I sweat up a storm doing ddp yoga fat burner.

G'day.

Had a busy morning. Started with having to change beds, the one I was in was slooowly moving yesterday and it quit today. So changing beds isn't a big deal if one could actually walk a few steps... They were going to try a lift, then thought that would be too dangerous, so it was through the sheer effort of me and two nurses which got it done.

And like 15 minutes later, PT came. I stood four times - my husband had brought my smaller walker - did one step back once, then a step to the side on two of those stands, both with left foot only. I could not move my right foot.

I was pretty tuckered out after all this happening in like an hour - then I washed up, had a good lunch, and the nurse told me to sleep in the afternoon. Hasn't happened yet.

A new doc started the week rotation here, she spent a lot of time with me. Will get legs, hips, and back x-rayed.

The left arm/hand tingling and pain is confusing them. She will talk to physio about addressing it, see what type of testing would be best.

My son was here last night, and at a point where I needed privacy with an aide, he was away from the room - but happened to hear the nursing report at shift change, so he heard my case presented. As he said it was all Blah blah blah, don't know why; second item, don't know why - he said it was so interesting hearing me discussed, esp since causes of some of my stuff isn't known.

Gotta go.
