@avoncallingu , you know I'd be there helping you if I could...look at this point, everything goes helter-skelter into boxes, garbage bags, anything, just to get it over there. Sorting can be then done at your leisure.
Btw...will you have a storage locker there for stuff that you didn't thoroughly sort through and throw out?

Otoh, I finally parted with a bunch of clothing, but in particular, a crepe swing-jacket in pink, and a faux-leather jacket, both from Additionelle (I never wore the swing jacket). Isn't it strange how one day you think, "Of course I'll wear this one day!", and a week or two later, "What was I thinking??! OUT you go!"? It feels pretty darn good and someone will get lots of use out of the stuff in that big garbage bag...a few even have tags on them!

Don't hurt yourself doing too much because you do....ya know.....just dump, bag, let it all get to where it's going. You're right, though, time has sure flown by and now with a shorter deadline! Yikes!

So apparently these little mouse cafes are sprinkled throughout southern Sweden..now I want to make one...many people also make them in their homes!

Someone needs to explain to my Easter cactus that it's only February. It's just a little one and only brought three flowers, but those three flowers are blooming gloriously.

@GoJays - so cool that you got blooms! I sure hope you are feeling better, or at least on the road there.

I had physio this morning with no drugs - nothing since bedtime last night. I reminded staff I had to have some sort of painkiller by 9, but that didn't happen. Morning meds usually come around breakfast. When the PT came, I told her and she said she could try to come back later when I was medicated, but I said I wanted to give a walk a try with me as I was.

So I hurt a lot, walking was slow and labourious, but I went a fair distance even though I was struggling.


Then someone said she had time to shower me, so I grabbed at the chance - showers take time for them to do, plus they have to clean up after, also just help the patient more and, if someone hadn't time to do it, remake the bed with clean linens.
In hindsight, I should have waited until the afternoon. I am now a giant puddle of a mess of pain. Drat!
