We are having rain here. I guess the garden needs it.
I am very tired from all the run around I did yesterday. Guess today will be a more relaxed day. Still have a few things to do around the house.

Good morning, all. Thunderstorms predicted for today so I am rushing to get all necessary computer work done in case we have to shut off our machines. One of the times I worked through a thunderstorm, lightning hit close enough for the jolt to fry my hard drive. So...this will be a brief "Hi there. And have a great Wednesday."

Wow, what a great sleep I had, only a few wakings. So this is the feeling most regular people have - feeling rested!

Unfortunately, still have lots of right ankle pain. Nothing seems to aid it - unless I take my biggest dose of pain meds, then I have about an hour's relief...

It was just announced that Green Bay will be playing an exhibition game in Winnipeg in August, against the Oakland Raiders. Regina tried really hard to get it, but it didn't work out, so people here are quite disappointed.

Heard a few boomers after midnight and I just assumed there was rain - but it was just droplets, what a bummer!

Today's big task is decluttering the kitchen counter - necessitated by me needing Band-Aids, and I know they are under a pile somewhere!

Good morning..I've been watching the telecast of the memorial services in France this morning commemorating the Juno Beach landings, such a sad and stirring event. My Mom lost her fiance in the bombing of London, but she never talked about it; I guess it's that way with so many who had been affected by that and any war.

Gray, drizzly day here, Jenny didn't want to get out of bed, just wanted to snuggle closer each time I moved, making those baby-puppy noises that just break your heart with love, so there I stayed, just holding her for about an hour, poor muffin. I think this weather affects her so I'll give her a baby aspirin when she finally wakes up on the sofa, still snuggled into her blanket.
@Natalka , those mornings when we wake up like a "normal person" without having to take inventory of what's hurting that morning, are blessings, aren't they? I hope you have many more.

Not much to do, DD at work with her door shut, studying the most difficult chapter of her book...she'll have her Chartered Investment Manager designation when she passes, heaven willing!

So, I guess I'll pull out my watercolours and do more practice-work.
