Good morning all
I am very tired even though I got more than 6 hrs of sleep. I have a Dr appointment today for a follow up. Today will be a very busy day for me since I have my regular routine to do also.

@GoJays that daddy looks to be about 17!!!!!
And he looks like he's thinking, "Lord, have mercy! What have I done?"
So 2 babies and next time 4.....I'd be thinking, next time it could be 8. There's a cure for that, laddie.

Good morning!
I am sure learning a lot about D-Day because all of the coverage of it being 75 years since. I think one of my uncles was there, he was with the Regina Rifles who led the invasion.
Today is my second oldest sister's birthday; she is ten years older than me, same age as my husband.
So yesterday I got a new owie, my left hip to my lower back. Geez Louise, it made for a tough afternoon and evening but I am glad it didn't bother my sleep. Husband had given it a good massage when he came home after work.
I am going to take max pain meds to deal with this, along with everything else, gah!
Hope everyone has a Terrific Thursday!
This little guy cheered me up! Baby beaver

This song was done at the end of today's commemoration in France - hauntingly beautiful when shown with the video they did for it several years ago

I've been watching the ceremonies for 2 days now but the most moving one I saw was the story of the Black Watch Snipers. Each of 4 survivors told his story, so well re-enacted, about how they became snipers, how they adjusted to what they had to do, and finally 3 of the remaining soldiers were brought together (I believe it was from 2016?) in their old age, remembering their comrades...ohmygosh, I was in tears. I think it was one of the most moving depictions of what that horrible war did to those young men and women.
God bless them all.Last edited by Lynn49; Thu, Jun 6th, 2019 at 10:38 PM.
