Nothing much on our agenda...I have an x-ray and ultrasound scheduled for 7:30 this evening for my shoulder...dr thinks I did something to my rotator cuff, but the day is free!

Gee, and I find that first pic of capris gross! The ones I wear are definitely between the two, but I would never wear heels with them.

Lynn, do you just wear shortshorts all the time in summer?

When the nurse did my weight yesterday, I had gained a few, so chalked that up to too much takeout recently. She said I was only ten pounds more than she was - but she is six foot two! Made me feel small at my five foot nine!

Another lovely day out, should be low twenties. I can't go outside on my own (yes, I still need a 'guard'), but it will be nice to have the doors open to let air in.

Gotta look after some financials tonight, so yay. That was one good thing about being in the hospital, everything was in husband's hands.

Hi folks! I slept in after my marathon running around yesterday- but free breakfast is only until 11 so I'm going to jettison myself into action and get going.
Nice day today so I will probably put on my shorter pants and enjoy the day.😁

@Natalka , yeppers, those take-outs can sure wreak havoc with our weight! DH just asked me what I take-out I wanted him to bring home after pool....unfortunately the nausea I'm experiencing this morning wasn't conducive to decision-making so I'll leave that up to him. I may suggest Chinese...I usually order a mixed veggie with chicken, shrimp and bbq pork and DH usually orders beef and broccoli/veggie dish. It's enough for both of us for lunch the next day.

Short-shorts?! LOL....I put those puppies away in the 60s! I always wear slacks, jeans, white jeans (mostly, even at camp)...some are a light cotton..I don't feel "cooler" if half my calves are exposed, hahaha....a hot day is a hot day. In my teens I used to wear a black turtleneck in the summer. Yep....I was really a rebellious teen..
@avoncallingu , enjoy your breakfast...are you on your way back home today?

I can't decide what to do today....I did things yesterday, so I'm not exactly able to do things today; too much walking yesterday as we were plant and deck railing shopping for camp.

Rain sometime today so DH is walking Jenny now...

Khols??!!!!! JEALOUS!! I love Khols!! But you knew that already, likely...I hope you find some great bargains there; I always head to the fashion jewelry first...then handbags...then housewares. There's always so much there I didn't know I wanted!

Have you ever wondered why they claimed to have walked on the moon in 1969, on the very first attempt, even though right here on earth Mt. Everest and the South Pole tooknumerous tries before success, allegedly accomplishing this amazing feat with fifty year older technology (a modern day cell phone has one million times more computing power than all of NASA did back then), yet fifty years laterthe farthest people can travel from the Earth is only 1/1000th the distance, despite there being five decades more advancements in rockets and computers?Has there ever been a genuine technological achievement in the entire history of the world, such as the automobile, airplane, or nuclear power, which could not be duplicated by any nation on earth and far surpassed fifty years after it was first allegedly accomplished? The answer is a resounding no. Seeing how it is impossible for technology to go backwards and today they can only send astronauts 1/1000th the distance from the Earth as was claimed fifty years ago on the very first attempt with five decades older technology, the only logical conclusion is that the 1969 claim was falsified.
