Home again, home again...jiggity-jig.

So glad to collect my puppy and bring her home. She kept whining and I finally realized that she just wanted me to sit down near her. She is fast asleep.

As far as the moon landing......my grandfather never believed it...... but there was significant reason not to believe HIM.

I think the reason other countries haven't been there consists of the fact that they didn't want to spend the money, America had already proved that it could be done. And besides, I took a whole day off work and stayed in Toronto with my boyfriend's family just so that I could watch it. Hotpants and all!

You'll never guess what I stumbled into this morning at the casino-I just went to buy a gift-not to gamble.........a whole Convention of........ (Be still my heart) Firefighters!!!!!!! They had all left their helmets and gear outside the meeting hall. Sigh!!

Then the meeting broke up and I asked a group of 5 of them if they were firefighters.....yes, I chatted them up all the way and even told them that I felt faint!!!!! The one fellow was supposedly on the Firefighters calendar.....which no one will buy me for Christmas! .... But then I think they were just kidding me. What physiques! What uniforms! Whew..... now I will never get to sleep!

the regulars have all clocked in and I make four!
Everyone here is sick. ugh!!! I had fought all of them off for at least 2 1/2 weeks as each member here caught this " thing ". .......and then....the dreaded tickle in my throat started yesterday and I knew! sniff, sniff.
I'll be sleeping most of the day after I finish up at physio....well, IF I can even get through the workout, we'll see.

Good morning! Woke up to a crashing thunderstorm! We'll have to wait a short while before we can go outside and I don't like taking showers when it's lightning.
I 'm on a bit of a short timeline this morning, but things will have to wait.
I've really been out of the loop with news. Which wasn't a bad thing.
It's very foggy out there.
Well, it has brightened up a bit so, I had better get moving.

Good morning!!!

Rain, rain, but lovely for sleeping in until 9 this morning. Jenny attempted to wake me up at some un-holy hour earlier, but I just tossed her blanket over her head and she went right back to sleep.

Preparing to leave for camp tomorrow, DD is leaving today to spend the evening and tomorrow studying for yet another exam. She showed me the equations she's dealing with and omg...I don't even understand the numbers and numerals, it's all Greek to me, and yes, some really ARE Greek!! She'll be spending a long weekend in Toronto on a study-course to also prepare for her exam. She never stops.
SIL and GS will be leaving for camp after school tomorrow.

So.....my DD surprised me with a suggestion for my 70th b'day this September: a trip for just her and I to NYC!!! She also gave me the choice for a trip to Toronto to meet up with some SC friends, which would be lovely, but I'm 70 and who knows when she and I will ever travel together again...so New York, here we come!!
