Good morning, everyone. Rise and shine. I have 2 yard sales to loot and pillage at 8 this morning when they open, and then it is a work, work, work day for me. I hope it is warm enough by noon for me to get yard work done as well, but there are a few warm, sunny days coming up...so it *will* get done. I can already feel my knees aching from all kneeling I'll be doing soon. It feels like a good day is on the horizon. I hope the same is true for you.

Good morning!
@danger_dan , that was my very thought about that puppers, no human to take him to the park?! This makes me very sad.....
Off to camp today, DD is in your town this morning, Dan, at her study course, so not as much fun at camp without her. DH has a deck fence to build, a new swivel thingy to install for our TV, and he just dug up some of our daylilies to plant there. Some fun, huh? Lol....but lots of lovely people on our street to visit with.
Enjoy your weekend, everyone!!

Good morn!
@Lynn49
Enjoy your weekend, hope the weather is good for you!
Got all excited when I heard on the radio that we were having showers - gah, barely spitting in our area...
Our niece from Fresno CA has been posting lots of pics on FB, she's a chaperone for her daughter's gr. 8 class trip. They are going all the way to NYC, what a long trip by bus! It's been nice seeing photos from WA and VA of the monuments, etc. - so many I didn't know about.
Lynn, I learned so much from the coverage, too. One horrible event happened near where yesterday's ceremony was held. At an Abbey, Hitler youth killed many - some after D-Day. I looked it up for more info.

A nice cool day to enjoy here. Vader is in heat, so she's my entertainment!
Glad she doesn't yowl, but can be meowy at times. A bonus is, if I get her at the right time, she is mega-snuggly. Plus she washes more, so her beautiful fur is fluffy and extra soft.
Have a funky Friday!

I haven't been working super-early very often, lately. I ain't getting up at 3:30am if I don't have to! That pupper does not look one bit upset that she is going to the dog park without her person. I bet she has lots of furry friends there
She is a strong, independent dog.

Hope everyone is doing wonderfully today! It's so bright and sunny out atm, I should really end the screen time soon.

@Natalka , it's gorgeous here, 24 on the island! I hope your farmers get the rains they need for their crops, Nat. So NYC, huh?! Good choice! I hope they all have a wonderful time! You'll have to let me know what sites they see...I hope DD and I get to the WTC memorial this time.
Hitler youth. I wonder how long it'll take for some imbicile, not to mention any names, to organize his own "brown shirts". Can you imagine, with the hate that's been encouraged there, how horrific that would be?! How easy that would be?!

Lol, @cabmonk - that's practically modern, with a toilet seat!
When I was a kid, we would go visit my grandparents in the tiny village in which they lived, the outhouse at the back of the garden had both big and small holes, no seats. There must have been to, I think would remember otherwise.
Gah, I hated having to go use it, but we would stay there for hours, and it was about an hour's drive from the city where we lived.
However, I did like drinking water from the well at the centre of the village. It was a communal dipper, that would never go over these days! There was a pump in the kitchen, though.
...
Just waiting for husband to get home, we will make supper together.
Have a nice evening, everyone!
