Hello my friends! I typed out a wonderfully witty and relevent post earlier and then lost it.
Dropped off income tax info to my income tax guy. Took Tootie to be groomed, wanting to get all the goop off her ears.
Spent 2 hours just shopping and washed the car.
Bought the black pair of sandals that they didn't have in stock when I tried to buy them earlier-at the St. Jacob's Outlet Mall.
Then went to pick up Tootie and the new groomer had washed and clipped her-but NOT her ears!!!
Do I speak Greek or something? The manager had just left as I came in, so I will call tomorrow to see if I can take her back on Thursday when her regular groomer will be back and do it right.
We are about to get a few days of incredibly hot weather. I do have an appointment tomorrow but other than that and very short walks with Tootie, I will be sticking around in the ac and drinking lots of water with a bit of salt for the electrolytes.
I'm with you, @Lynn49 - I better be good because I really couldn't stand the heat down under -and I am not talking about Australia!
Where is the place where your gs went snorkeling? Did you say Kettle Point? There is a Kettle Point near Grand Bend. Are they there?
Well, I should see if I can find sleepland.
Good night and sleep tight.Last edited by avoncallingu; Tue, Jul 16th, 2019 at 11:36 PM.

Super start to the day. Porch. Rain. Coffee. Relaxation.
Found a great place in the beach that does custom bookshelves and cabinets. Will be heading there to order a set for the library.
Until next time.
Same bat time. Same bat channel.

@cath007 -
I know it's really hard...
I still talk to my mom in my head all the time, and have dreams about her and dad, too.
Maybe light a candle in her memory today, that's what I do.

@GoJays - those sheep are incredibly cute!
@Lynn49 - red pandas look like they would be uber-snuggable!
Last year, there was a pair at our city zoo, but of course it was when I was terribly ill and could not go.
....
Happy Wednesday, all!
I got some sleep, finally, yay! Of course I guessed I would fall asleep in the evening which, of course, I did - around nine. Woke up at 1:30, stayed up two hours, then slept a few more hours.
(Gah, the crowd are so fargin' loud out back right now, I can barely hear the radio I have on! More than a dozen! They hadn't been around for a while, so I was hoping they wouldn't comeback! Vader kitty is sitting quietly in front of the door, watching the goings-on.)
A bit cooler today, but with humidity of 95% it's gross anyway.
We did get some rain yesterday, always welcome.
This good boy found the missing girls in Ont.

Oh, forgot to mention - on our street, four blocks down, on the weekend a woman awoke to see a man in her bedroom, pants open, uh... looking after himself...
Goodness knows how, but she got out of bed - hitting him, was able to push him out of her house. Called this police, but even with the K-9 unit they couldn't track him. How scary!
It has been so informative finding out more about the moon landing over these past few days. My Dad was great at squirreling away stuff -

I can only imagine, @GoJays , but you're always on the lookout for the exotic...not the
Costco or Home Depot collections..
That pothos I picked up a couple of months ago is really thriving, and amof, it's sitting on a 1/2 moon table, about a meter high, and two vines are just about brushing the ground already! I don't care for hanging plants, they remind me of the old macrame hanging days, lol..which, as much as "collectors" in this new generation find them interesting, I do not. I hate cutting plants, so basically I'm between a rock and a hard place.Last edited by Lynn49; Wed, Jul 17th, 2019 at 11:26 AM.
