Well, yoga this morning, dentist this afternoon. She painted some "salted caramel fluoride"on my teeth and then said I could eat or drink but not to floss or brush my teeth for 4 hours. I found out immediately after, just by chance, and of course for a friend that Peanut Buster Parfaits which are usually $7 were on sale for $2.99. That "friend" sure thought it was yummy!
Then had Geek Squad take over my laptop for 2.5 hours and have supposedly fixed everything that was wrong. Haven't tried it yet.
I have been obsessing about finally re-organizing my den and purging and finally opening/emptying all the boxes. Well, the floor/carpet is finally visible - but somehow the boxes have wound up in the hall.
But, there is a method to my madness. I am going to move my proposed sewing/arts table to another wall where I won't just be facing the wall when I sew and then use a big container for larger pieces of material. There'll be the quilting area, the scrapbooking area including boxes and boxes of unfiled pictures, the printer area, the present wrapping area, and the "yet-to-be-framed-or-hung" art area along with storage for memoir boxes and seasonal art. Reminds me of the bachelor apartment I had when I was going to teacher's college . That had the kitchen area, the bedroom area, the study area and the "sitting" -music area. I didn't have a TV. Just imagine!
@Lynn49 -here's my suggestion - write down all those wonderful ideas-buy or make the stuff and then put it all in a box labeled "Summer 2021" Combining alcohol with not knowing just where people have been hanging out after all the time you have been so careful seems like there is no way people won't be closer than 6' apart and not wearing masks. How can you eat and drink with a mask on?
My brain may sound scrambled-which it is- but, please, think again about your decision.
Got to hit the sack.
Taking Tootie to the vet tomorrow. The groomer found 4 suspicious lumps on her when she was getting groomed. One particularly concerning on her lower jaw. She is 11-is years old. Should still have more time to grow old with me, so, I am a n overly cautious fur-baby momma. The owner sits in the car and communicates by phone with the vet.
That storm I described on Sunday only took 15 minutes to go by but wow! Dumped a ton of water and did quite a bit of damage. We were fine, though.
See y'all later! Sleep well!Last edited by avoncallingu; Tue, Jul 21st, 2020 at 10:36 PM.
