Good morning!!
@GoJays, that dentist skit has to be one of the funniest on tv! Anytime Tim Conway made Harvey Korman laugh when he should have been serious is incredible...there was also one skit where Tim was in a shop with Harvey trying to return a toupee his wife bought him....those two!!!
Well, we went from spring back to winter just like that! Dang it. But I've kept myself busy!
We're awaiting the results from our Grandson's covid test...5 cases in the school but since his gr 7 class has little contact with the gr 8 and the gr 10 students who tested positive, we're cautiously optimistic that he's fine. He'll return back to school and anxiously so...he doesn't enjoy on-line classes he'd rather the teacher just send home the homework so he can get it done and sent back. I mean...without school, how will he ever play chess with his teacher?! Hahaha! My Hubby is his only other partner worthy of his chess competitions, LOL!!!
I saw that LifeLabs is offering testing to people to check for covid antibodies which reveals whether or not someone has had covid. Our DD was so scary sick from January to February for about 5 weeks and if that wasn't covid, then what the heck was it?! I was so afraid for her. Now I'm hearing people had the thing back in December, 2019!!! So it WAS around back then.
So...at least the sun is out and it's shiny out there and if it ever gets around to melting that white crap, that would be lovely.
@walkonby, I'll continue to drink wine...I mean of course, experiment with the relationship between Ikea and wine until that box unfurls itself and assembles something recognizable.I feel it's my duty.
Enjoy your day, everyone!!!

Well folks I don't have a letter of the day for the thread as I am not Crafty enough today. That said, you never know when another one will appear. Today's an off day in more ways than one, but hey I am better than some and worse than others but still thankful.
The cat has been excellent company today when he feels like it.Sometimes I wonder who owns who?(right on time he's here!)
I must be off as the cat calls, as does making something for dinner and not nodding off beforehand.
Have a great evening everyone!Always remember the What are you thankful for today? thread as there always is something to be thankful for.

Thanks @Skippy - for the earworm, I think my Cookie 🍪 Monster impression has been perfected!
Yesterday had an hour with the physiotherapist, boy did she give me a workout. My right knee had been in pain earlier in the day, so we just had to work around it. Seems as though she is coming closer to figuring out what the heck is up with my under thigh, lower back and butt bone combination. Funny, when I first used the term butt bone with her, she corrected me and said tailbone. So two minutes later I was calling it butt bone again, saw the puzzlement on her face and had to tell her Bart Simpson called his that, so I always have.
I took two steps forward and three to the left with the walker. It was horrid to do, but I was able to do it.
Went through lots of other exercises and her poking and prodding - told her she said sorry too much, but I said I understand - it wasn't my first rodeo...
Last evening I was getting quite sore, then could either not get to sleep or stay asleep because of pain in varying parts. Will try nap this aft.
Luv to you all!

Yay, for your GS, @Lynn49 . Can he go back to school now?
It was a beautiful sunny day here so my friend and I took a drive to Stratford (about 30 min. away) and walked down by the river. No wind but cold. Then we watched a couple of episodes of Bones this evening.
My 2nd friend who had a double lung transplant at the same time as the first friend- 11.5 years ago has also passed away. Sad news.
Our church online auction has only 35 articles. I swear my family donated at least 8. There is a really lovely piece of artwork featuring a country scene of Provence. And another really lovely, beautifully matted picture of a single bullrush in the fall. I'm a sucker for artwork!
@Natalka - seems like your physiotherapist- really gave you a workout! Hopefully, she can figure out that mystery pain. Hugs to you.
@Newfiescreech - are you around?
What about you, @cabmonk ?
We are supposed to get a sloppy, rain/snow mix overnight and into the morning. The temp is supposed to be at the freezing point- a bad combination!
Must say goodnight- sleep tight!
Good luck to all the teams you support, @walkonby !
