Good morning! Cleaned up my budget this morning. Credit cards paid in full. I haven't used them the past month (had been paying cash for everything from change/small bill wins from casino) I miss them and the points going up .
I redeemed over $100 in PC points this past month too. Will not touch my points till I get them over $500 worth (think they are sitting at $445 right now.)
Had to shop for work this morning and finally hit 3 x $170 redemption level at Shoppers! So will be watching the flyers for good sales. Like to redeem for one fragrance sampler then the rest groceries. Need to do that 2 times so I have 2 for gifts at Christmas. (or may save them for birthdays- depends what I find for Christmas)

Looked at the upcoming sale flyers and happy with the sales on fruit and veggies! Really need to get back into meal planning. Seem to cook all weekend long then wing it during the week. Found taco meat in the freezer last night so the kids had tacos for dinner. I had cereal. Just wasn't feeling like a big meal of anything. Need to get a healthy dinner on the table tonight.

DS's Lunch included a roast beef sandwich (from our roast the other night) He seemed pleased with that lol. Sent him with lots of fruit too. Tomorrow I will mix it up and send spinach dip with carrots and cucumbers and other stuff. Trying to keep it creative and healthy.

I oven baked 88 meatballs the other day and put enough in the freezer for 2 meals. Our son and I baked banana oatmeal chocolate chip cranberry cookies last night while Dh mowed the lawn for the first time in over a month.

I went to Sobeys 10% off sale last night. $2.10 CO51, $38.77 in coupons, 10% = $14.09, redeemed one rain check and used coupons on the items, 48% savings according to receipt, $92.22 oop, and earned 12 Air Miles.

Our son walked himself to Kindergarten this morning. Our 2yr old twins cried, which made it more emotional for me.

Today is the last day to purchase Sportchek Gift cards at RCSS for 15% off.

Getting one for my oldest for Christmas for sure. Then a few just for me for when buying shoes/clothing for us.

Dewy morning, the sun was out, the rain was not-it was grasscutting time! Did not get out to LCBO in morning as planned-had to deal with laundry. Then a good walk-found a beer can, a roughed up nickel and roughed up quarter. Bought a cider and a beer when I obtained the new Food & Drink magazine. Rain clouds passed overhead but no rain fell. Great day for drying wet things and being active outside! Rain remains in the daily forecast until Sunday.

I need to get baking ingredients tomorrow to ensure a cake with blueberries will exist for the weekend.

Reading the "kids have set off for school" posts-aww, new adventures for them and their parents and guardians! The artwork and crafts will keep the adults engaged in finding out what new things the children learned.

Update: We didn't get any frost. I haven't sold many tomatoes, so I have a gallon of ripe tomatoes sitting in my kitchen and I might need to make more tomato sauce. I need to re-organize my freezer, I'm running out of room from preserving the summer harvest.

I got a call 15min after school. It turns out that another kid took our son's outside shoes at the end of the day. Our son had to wear the random pair of size 10 shoes that were left on the wrong shelf. I spoke with the teacher, as long as the other kid brings our son's shoes back then the teacher has a plan. Hopefully the teacher is able to sort it out on Friday.

Good Morning! Another beautiful start to the day. Rain/storms expected but then its to clear up tomorrow for a beautiful weekend.

My new washing machine is hooked up and I did 2 loads last night. Will do another load or 2 tonight :

DS has hockey tonight so will whip him up quick fuel (eggs and peameal bacon) and get him to the rink. I will go to No Frills then and get what I need from the sale flyer so I don't have to rush out this weekend. (We are gone Saturday so saves me wasting Sunday shopping)

Last night I went to another free class at our public library. We made individual pizza and made the crust from scratch. My pizza dough was the only one that turned out properly with that recipe. Here's a picture of my pizza that they posted on their Facebook page. We are supposed to bake them at home.

Last night I did up 7 party favour bags for the kids to take home at the end of the party on Saturday. This include 2 specially labeled for our twins with large light up balls. All 5 invited children confirmed their attendance. I'll bake the cake tomorrow and decorate it when ds is in bed, as per his request.

I'll be taking the kids outside to play in the water table again this morning, our days are limited.

Today's lunch plannis my small home made pizza, zucchini dill drop biscuits, cut up garden carrot and garden cucumber, maybe some fresh cherry tomatoes too.

supper: chicken and mushroom Alfredo with pasta and cooked veggies.

edit: A house 2 doors away is having a large tree cut down, so we are staying inside for now. I'm wanting to take them outside when they are done some of the louder stuff. They have a wood chipper and it's quite loud, which our twin boy is concerned about. Water table is still in the plans.

I made lots of biscuits, so I think I'll make fun 'n jaggy for supper tomorrow night.

Did anyone here read the last free Walmart magazine? I am totally making DS meatball subs that are featured on the cover! Will make the meatballs sometime this weekend and cook them and freeze in sandwich size portions. Then I can pull from freezer as needed. Going to check out the single buns at RCSS to which would work best with it. I want to try one too!

    Good Afternoon Everyone,
Went Costco shopping last night after work and must say I really dislike it when everything runs out at once, make for quite the bill.
    Items we got were:
Croissants (okay not a need but my stomach seems pretty unhappy these days and bread type items tend to help and be on of the few things I can eat without feeling ill)
Regular Foil & Large Foil (we have cookie sheets that take up the whole oven and need the large foil)
    Milk
    Bananas
    Strawberries
    Paper Towel
    Toilet Paper
    Chicken Breasts

We then went to Freshco to grab a few things they had on sale:
    Potatoes
    Celery
    Ketchup
    Ricotta
    Zucchini

This is our shopping for the week, we really did not need a lot and only went to Freshco because of the potatoes had they not of been on sale we would have skipped this stop but since we were going in grabbed a few more items that were on sale.

Tonight after work Mom is supposed to be stopping to grab a new Kitchen Faucet as we have discovered ours is now leaking under our sink. Mom went to get a garbage bag last night and everything was sitting in water. I sent her a couple that are one sale and gave her money from the selling stuff jar, I just checked online and the one we both liked is in store so hopefully there won't be any issues.

Time to get back to my testing and manual, have a wonderful day everyone

I just saw this post and ordered the FPC from save.ca, even though the app said it was out of stock.

    Good Morning All,
Mom was able to get the new faucet last night but we did not get it installed as we both ended up working late so by the time we were done dinner it was pretty much bedtime for me.

Dinner last night was super simple, re heated leftover pizza and made a Ranch Salad to go with it to use up some of the lettuce and cucumbers we had in the fridge.

Hopefully tonight we can get the new faucet installed and get our kitchen back in working order.

Tomorrow I need to bag up the Chicken Breasts we got from Costco, we bought 2 trays so one tray I will cut up into chunks and strips and freeze the other tray I will leave whole and freeze individually. I have found pre cutting them really helps with quick dinners as I have come to face the fact my life is never going to calm down. I might also marinate a few but first I want to check our stock in the freezer. Will also need to break down the package of sausages into 1s and 2s to freeze.

Actually thinking tonight's dinner might be sausage on a bun with chips, quick and easy so we can try to get the kitchen back in order.

It is Friday so I better go and get the company blog post ready to post. Have a wonderful day everyone.
