Looks like another idea from the mind of a marketing manager who didn't put enough thought into how the target audience, most of whom don't think like marketing managers, would react. /sigh

That said, if the expiry date is long enough and especially it stacks with other wus offers, it would be a very nice offer for anyone to have who shops a decent amount at SDM. Perhaps you'd care to share the full details in the personalized / unusual offers thread

I am trying to figure out what to buy that will cost me little out of pocket. Just wondering what others are buying and I know it depends on personal offers and sale prices also. TiA

@Laurabelle81 thanks for your response. I used out all my Tide and / downy coupons. Was not lucky to find the Vim or Secret coupons all was gone at my RCSS
I did the offer today and bought milk and Dove products since my personal offer all lined up so I got everything for free and also made some $$

I am keen to know if PC Optimum shoppers in Ontario found the RESP contest information in their Carlton Card departments this weekend about the $25000 RESP prize? Flyer indicates 3 Carlton Cards need to be purchased with PC Optimum card scanned to be entered into the contest between Aug. 15 to Sept. 18. Just curious, as I know family and friends with minors who might like to pursue this contest.

I received the use 50,000 pts get 40% back (20,000), plus I have the 20x when you spend $40 and 20,000 pts when you spend $60, my question is if I spend $60 will I get both 12,000 pts for spending $60 plus 20,000 = 32,000 pts, please let me know because it’s for today and I would like to go on my lunch!,

I am guessing no because you are redeeming not spending.

Sorry, I wasn’t very clear I won’t use the redeeming one since I would only get 20,000 points but if I can use both of the other offers I would get 32,000 points if I spend $60, would that work?

You can never be 100% certain with PCO because unexpected exceptions occasionally occur, but that said, at SDM, this redemption is probably supposed to work like any normal SDM one. So, if your pre-tax total is $60 and you redeem 50k, I expect that you will receive 20k back from the 50k redeemed, and base points only on the additional $10 since this amount is not enough to activate your 20x wus $40 offer.

A pretty solid rule of thumb you might want to commit to memory is that WUS offers that apply to the total don't stack. If your total is $60, you should get the better of the two WUS offers, not both. So, you should get 20k from the WUS $60 offer, which should disappear, and the WUS $40 offer should still be available because the system has not applied it.

To get 32k, you should have to spend $100, either in a single transaction or one of $60 plus another of $40.

I am pretty certain that 2 wus offers do not stack since this has been the case for years. You can also just test it out and let us know.

Some will stack but not those general ones. If you have “X amount of points wus X$ on suncare/vitamins/etc” those will stack with either a 20x or a points for X dollars spent.
