Decided on Breakfast for Dinner tonight so I made waffles, will see what Mom thinks when she gets home. If she doesn't want waffles we have potato soup, beef stew, pasta sauce and taco meat in the fridge.
Well I was relaxing I decided to do some recipe research. We are getting tired of the same things over and over. I decided today to look at side dish recipes. We have some barely to use up and I found a few recipes that look promising, as well thinking I will pick up some Orzo when we go shopping for another option. We also need to pick up more rice.
Tomorrow night after work I will compare my grocery list to mine and Mom's PC Offers so I can plan a shopping trip for Tuesday. I do not think we need much just the basics yogurt, eggs and some fresh fruit and veg.
Well I better get packed up for tomorrow, my Netflix binge was great well it lasted but I better pack up as I hate running around in the morning looking for my stuff which also usually leads to me forgetting something.

House is tidied up and ready for Daycare kids to arrive in the morning. I caught an afternoon nap with our kids. I plan on going shopping for fresh veggies and fruit tomorrow evening, leave the kids at home with Dh.
Tonight’s supper was frozen pizza with veggies, dip, and chocolate milk.
Tomorrow’s lunch plan is leftover pizza, maybe home made smoothie popsicles to go with it.
We plan on doing more baking tomorrow. Double batch of oatmeal chocolate chip cookies and maybe a regular cheese cake.Last edited by Angela273; Sun, Apr 8th, 2018 at 11:55 PM.

@cath007 : Sometimes there are surveys in your account. Not often though, it's rare.
That's heartbreaking news. It's been all over the morning talk shows on the radio today.
I had to switch the station in the last few minutes because I didn't want to arrive at work in tears and red-faced.

On my birthday, I took out DD1 grocery shopping and baked myself chocolate cupcakes. RCSS seems to have had some good sales this weekend, but I didn't buy anything healthy. I bought lots and lots of chocolate! Lindt chocolate bunnies were $0.94 so I picked up four. One for every member of the family except for the baby. They had a huge bin full of Hershey's chocolate chips for 0.94, but when I scanned one, it came out as 3.88. Some ladies told me that they were able to get the price adjusted down to the listed price. I didn't fight for the SCOP as the tag was for chocolate chips and I purchased semi-sweet. 17 bags made it to my cart as it will fulfill DD1's chocolate chip cookies until the expiry date in 2019 (plus parental snacking....).
When I went to the checkout, I noticed that I had forgotten my wallet. Luckily, I returned something and had a $20 GC. I redeemed $40 in points and used the GC on the rest. It meant that I couldn't stop by SDM or WM though. After DD1 and I got home, we made chocolate cupcakes. They turned out pretty well!
On Sunday, at SDM, I did a $30 shop on TP and didn't know there was a coupon. Oh well, DD1 uses TP like there's no tomorrow so it's just as well that it's not on 3-ply. The girl who works there who I always see leaving with the owner has a sparkly diamond ring now. I wonder if they're engaged! That makes me happy that others are happy.

I finally got through to the CRA on Saturday. At 8:59 AM, I kept pressing redial until the phone lines opened. For the entire week, we've been trying to get through but have always had the response that the queue is full. At 9:00 AM, DH was speaking to someone and there was a very long wait on hold while his request was processed. If we don't receive the money by June 9th, we are to call in again. June 9th is sooo very far away! But, it's done!

With the exception of some fresh fruit and veggies I am going to try hard to use up stuff on hand and plan meals around that. I really want the kitchen freezer empty.
For DS's work dinner tonight- Last night I made him mashed potatoes and cooked up sausage that I had in the freezer. Filled his Tupperware container for tonight's meal and another that he ate yesterday.
We have asparagus and peppers to use up as well as a cooked ham. So Toasted westerns for sure one night for dinner.
I am going to make a batch of mini quiche (bacon/ham/spinach/cheese for DS) Hoping he likes them in his lunch tomorrow

My youngest daycare girl isn’t coming today, mom’s day off. My oldest Daycare girl is back from holidays. They all had fun mixing up a double batch of oatmeal chocolate chip cookies this morning. It made nearly 5 dozen good sized cookies. 2 dozen are in an icecream bucket to send to Kindergarten tomorrow, along with the banana breads that we baked and sliced last week.

We ordered Chinese takeout for my birthday meal and DD1 turned up her nose at all of it. I can't take her anywhere.
Although, now we know she likes shrimp, scallops, and lobster. Ha ha! I think if it were up to her, she'd just eat pizza all day. Sigh.
Next week, a friend is coming by for a visit. I know I will have to bake a new batch of chocolate chip cookies by then, and, I will have to cook something for a potluck. Cookies and lemon coffee cake? We're not sure where the potluck will be yet, so it will have to be something that travels well.

I spent $15.33 at No Frills. Pm’d WM 77c cucumbers. Used my $0.03 coupon for a box of 3-ply Royale Tissues. $3.99 E.D. Smith pie filling - $2 Caddle. Earnrd 300pts from buying bananas. Our store was out of stock of a variety of things: strawberries, most salad kits, fresh peas, etc. They don’t yet carry the new Quaker oatmeal cups. I’d be interested in trading for the new save $3 in berries wub $6 in Quaker products...I haven’t seen the coupon yet.
