I put a load in the dryer and a load in the washer at lunch. I don't have the time to wait till 7pm. Will continue on the laundry when I get home in a bit. Goal is to get it all washed/dry and put away!

The dishwasher is ready to run at 7pm. Will clean out the fridge after I sort the laundry. Then empty all the garbage cans in the house. I took out the recycling at lunch too.

Then have a quick shower and head to RCSS and do a good shop. Plan on redeeming pc points and stocking up on the extra lean beef (not best price but we need it and I have personal points offer and am using points) I cook one family tray up tonight and make taco meat for the boys for their dinner tomorrow night (since we will be out with friends) I will shred the lettuce, cheese, chop peppers and have it all ready for them to just pull out of the fridge and heat the meat and assemble tacos

Last night I stopped by Sobeys and used coupons on ea h of the 7 items that I purchased. Day old buns that were already on sale ($1 coup on each), Kraft Parmesan cheese ($1 perlite on each), cat food ($3 off coupon perbag).

Rain and potential frost are both in our forecast over the weekend and into next week. I’ve decided that it is not worth repeatedly covering my plants this year, since the forecast is fairly miserable. I’d rather harvest most of the vulnerable produce before the rain hits. It’s much easier to harvest and preserve them when they are dry. The kids and I harvested the potatoes from the plants that died down, a heaping 3 gallon bucket full of red potatoes. I still have 4 more potato plants that are mostly green on top. I’ve continued to harvest about 5 carrots a day for the last while. Carrots and potatoes can handle the poor weather that is in the forecast. This morning we harvested most of the tomatoes, both red and green. I still need to harvest more tomatoes, Swiss chard, Old lettuce, beans for seeds, spaghetti squash, and butternut squash. I am supposed to have someone come and buy a variety of produce around 5pm today.

I had a GP appointment this morning regarding a new medical concern. Now I’m waiting to be scheduled for an ultrasound. I am under the care of 3 different medical specialists. I saw two of them in August. I have a follow-up with one and a routine appointment with the third specialist later in September. Sometimes I really feel like a medical case. I’m in a lot of pain today, but don’t want to complain about it on here since I know some people are worse off than myself.

I went to the big box store and bought 3x boxes of turkey stuffing stove top, 1 box of Reece cereal, 3x cans of fruits, 1 bag of dolly mix, and 1 Breton crackers mini for 15$. I wanted the canned fruit and dolly mix then everything after was just me browsing.

I saw the mental health today not my usual case worker but someone else. She only gave me 1/2hour but better then nothing we covered a lot of ground. I also saw my GP today I got him to refill my prescription for gabapentin and my prn loxapine. I also got two more samples of Breo it’s corticosteroid inhaler. Its really expensive if I would have to pay for it. Hence the samples.

In the mail I obtained a piece of jewelry I don’t think I ordered or did I? It’s a heart with a moon inside the moon is something that glows in the dark, blue. The outside of the package stated earrings and definitely wasn’t. I don’t think i ordered that exact one I went through all my orders on amazon and didn’t see it at all listed.

I am feeling a little out of place today I think the antibiotics are giving one of the main side effects at least i have noticed for today. I am not impressed by any means, since I have never tried these ones. I was given unsolicited advice by my health care worker who was taking me to my GP appointment over antibiotics. It slipped out of my mouth that “I didn’t want to hear it” I thought I was just thinking it apparently not I said it out loud. Needless to say she apologized after I was finished my appointment before we got back to the car. She has never done that for me I say this is a win win.

I am going to go to bed early tonight instead of playing games all night on my phone which I have been doing.

Kitchen is spotless. Will empty dishwasher in the morning when making lunches. All laundry put away but the load of whites in dryer. Only spent $40.18 ( redeemed pts and used .18 from gift card from bread thing) at Rcss because they were out of some items. Didnt get beef either. I did get 6 x herbal essence shanpoo/conditioner combo packs that were on for $2.49. I plan on stocking up youngest with Axe products on at Sdm.

The weekend is sooo close. Oldest son turns 18 on Friday. How did that time go fast, as someone said recently the hours are long but the years are short. He is a totally foodie so dinner is at a fancy Italian restaurant he has always wanted to try. But as always, cake is homemade by me and no frosting just the way he likes it.

I sold and traded away more veggies today. Another $20 in hand and a brand new pair of garden shears that cost $28. I plan on using the shears tomorrow to harvest more of my squash from the garden. They are good quality, so hopefully they work well.

    Good morning Everyone,
I feel like this week flew by which is good.

Wednesday night after work I stopped at No Frills to grab a few things and ended up buying more than I had planned as I found a number of 50% of stickers. I got
1 x Mushrooms $3.97 + 100 pts/$ (only got one as that is all they had, we buy the naturally imperfect)
    5 x Yogurt $1.97 + 400 pts/$2
    5 x Bananas $0.57/lb + 100 pts/$
    2 x Romaine Lettuce $1.27 + 150 pts each
    1 x Spinach $1.97 - 50%
    6 x Three Cheese Stuffed Pasta $3.67 - 50% off + 1600 pts/$8

I had not planned on the pasta but I love the stuffed Pastas as a quick dinner and for $1.83 I could not pass it up. I used 2 for dinner last night as I wanted leftovers for lunches and the other 4 will go in the freezer. Also had not planned on the Spinach but I had an idea for a dish and since it was 50% off I figured why not.

Last night instead of using Tomato Sauce on the Pasta I made a sauce using Onion, Spinach, Homemade Roasted Tomatoes, Mushrooms in a Garlic Parm Sauce. I also made a Cesar Salad and Garlic Bread to go with it.

Not much else going on as I must admit I feel like the week flew by on me which is good considering I was not feeling my best at the start of the week but with lots of sleep I rebounded quickly which is good as this week was super busy at work.

Hope everyone has a great day. Off to get a few things done before my trainee comes in.

TGIF!!! The week has flown by for me. Left the house with a spotless kitchen. (Told youngest DS to empty dishwasher and put away the clean breakfast dishes drying on the counter) He is having 2 friends sleep over tonight so he will work for it .

My bestie really wanted a hotel stay and tickets to see Gordon Lightfoot for her birthday. So I got both for her for tonight so have to go down and get the room/tickets for her and her hubby (we saw him last year) so she sold my extra pair for me so a few more bucks for the travel fund. We will have dinner for free while there and I have $40 in free slot play to use up so will be a free night plus making a few bucks on the tickets and my bestie get a great night out for free too

Tomorrow. Hockey for DS and then family dinner at Grandma's. Will be nice to see my sister and family in a relaxed setting.

Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!

Today I woke up to my neighbours barking dog the one next to me the little dog that patrols the neighbourhood in a stroller - baby stroller. It’s still barking and it keeps barking it’s name last dusty rose the other dog that’s name is tequila that is often called tiki has a much louder bark. Which is on the other side of me. Yes I am surrounded by tiny barking dogs. It’s cold, wet and rainy outside. I need to go to food bank today hopefully there is no one there because of the rain. I get paid in 2 weeks. Everyone thought it was next week...haha. Boy are they dumb it’s a 5 week month they must think it’s a normal pay period. I am doing a party dance next month is gst and pay day. But I like this get paid the 26 of September then 5th of October(gst) then 24. I will only be excited once I get paid. Not so excited for the legalization of recreational pot though. I’m sure there goes the days of once 10$ grams to now 12$ grams. Not that I care as much just saying. It will be each provinces cash cow especially BC the Bring Cash province. Maybe this province of mine once it all happens can stop whining and complaining about not having any money. Since housing sales are down because it’s really expensive to buy anything and the next years rent increase is going to 4.6% highest it has been in decades. I resolved to living in a place that’s cheaper then anything else I mean my rent portion goes to my landlord. But I pay for my own phone, cable and internet. So that’s literally more like 606$ a month I calculate for my rent of everything if it was included.

I feel sorry for my neighbour they pulled all her teeth out and she is black and blue. It’s for dentures they are going to put into her mouth. That’s total trauma to the body loosing all the teeth. Horrible I tell ya. I am scared of the dentist I couldn’t go through and do that. Every time I go i get a needle even after a cleaning i seem to move chairs (musical chairs) and they do dental work or else I always blow them off. They have good spidey sense, haha.

I just wanna go back to sleep because of the rain it makes me tired, very tired. I already went back to sleep once when I woke up at 2am then went back to sleep 2:30am then woke up at 7am. My bones can feel the pressure outside of the weather changing it’s sucky. So I feel like a weather station basically and instead of looking outside that it’s raining I know that it is.

The bedframe I ordered for DS arrived this morning and he had it all set up before I arrived home on my lunch break. He has lots of room underneath it and said he is going to store his guitars/cases under there. Yippppeeee! Happy they have a spot to go and be out of the way. He said his bed is very comfy now. Finally, that is out of the way.

I just counted the $ in my envelope that I started in January putting $10 cash away each week. $420.00. So I have an extra $50 in it to cover the next few weeks.

I think I will stop at Foodland on my way home and grab a few of the pizzas on for $3.99 for DS and his friends. They can cook up a bag of oven fries to go with it. I was going to order them pizza but this is cheaper and then they can just eat when they feel like it.

I got frozen beef sausages, stuffed cheese pasta, pepperoni sticks, So Nice ice cream, coffee, cheese bread, as many beans as i wanted, ziplock bags, vegetable soup, hard gummy bears, kashi/fibre 1 granola bars, vermachelli, celery, asparagus, 4 portions of ground round, knorr sidekicks pasta, fruit cocktail(which I have allergy to the pineapple), 4 rolls of TP, cherry strudels, geek yogurt, sour cream, heva good French onion chip dip, a sample of bag of takis, can of tuna, cream cheese spread and a bottle of chipotle lemonade. I wish there was cheese to be had I don’t think in what I got there was cheese like the brick or the shredded.

I think you are quite fortunate. There is one place in our community where a food hamper is available. I was recently informed by a friend, who uses their services, that they are only allowed to come once every 3 months, plus the Christmas hamper. I try to support the local food bank, but also local families that I personally know are in need.

I have always supported the food bank even when before I was working I would give them a check of 500$ that I saved up from my pay and give to them at Christmas. We get a hamper every month then allowed to go to food bank once a week for other things. The hamper usually consists of lots of pasta, canned beans, canned tomatoes, canned mushrooms or corn, canned fruit or dessert in a box, canned fish, granola bars, candy, chips/crackers, and a frozen meat product. Everything else on my list that I got was me going to the food bank that day I seem to go less if I have food in my house like food that I like. My friends like me going to the food bank so they can have whatever I get. I think I created monsters. It usually happens that way i get stuff I don’t normally eat like yogurt or cayenne lemonade...I always seem to be thinking thinking about others while I am at the food bank. I even got Chex cereal that I was hoping to give to someone I went to their door and they said they didn’t want it... that pissed me off because I talked to them earlier and they asked about cereal. It’s like I need to hit my head on the wall or something or theirs hehe..lol.

This morning I woke up @ 4am and watched the news that’s always on they said my town is flooded out. Big surprise there since it’s low lying areas around passed the dykes. And I know tent city is flooded too, they called the RCMP to bail them out.

Did you know that they train all the people (RCMP) from back east in my town to toughen them up? Some of then are nice and have a good streak to them. The last time I was in the hospital one of them came in and made the staff at the hospital jump to it and fast track me. I saw them the other day thanked them and gave them a Starbucks card with 10$ on it. I told them it’s probably more expensive coffee but now you can have some too. I saw them from the distance and looked through my gift cards in my wallet. Then started to check balances of the cards and I had 3 Starbucks cards that one seemed I decided I could part with.

Aw my feet hurt..there pulsating and feeling terrible. I am not used to having both feet feeling like hell. I am not even used to my back hurting every day either how does one figure the pain is more then just ones back? Or that more meets the eye?

On Facebook marketplace I saw a shopping cart...I am going to buy it they are asking $15..I looked online it costs more then that for one of those. I don’t know why I want two?!?!
