    Good Evening Everyone,
Today was a bit of a long day, did not want to get out of bed this morning but started getting phone calls at 6:30 this morning so that got me up and going but I hit a wall hard just after 1 pm.

I took a few extra breaks today as getting up and moving was helping me focus. I find I move around way less when I am working from home vs when I am in the office I seem to get up and move a lot more. During my breaks I emptied the dishwasher, Mom reloaded it and did most of the hand dishes but I washed the few I used for lunch and I took a nice relaxing shower. Still not getting a ton done around the house but right now my goal is to get through this week and next week I will start focusing on the house.

I have discovered something about myself, I am really bad at doing nothing. I always sit here and say I would love to just lay on the couch and watch TV but when I get a chance too I come up with 500 other things to do. The last few nights I have really had to force myself to just stop and relax because I sit here thinking of what I could be getting done but I forcing myself to take time for myself. Just weird never thought it would be so hard to put myself first and do nothing.

Kitchen is clean so I think it is time to relax and maybe have some cake, yum Triple Berry Ricotta Cake, I love this cake.

I started to look through the flyers so far not a lot of sparking my attention but I do think I will try to get to Costco next week. We still do not have a large list for Costco but a smaller shop will work for my budget.

    Have a great night everyone

It's been a warm and sunny day and what a gift! Even better when shared with a friend on a trip out of town! We missed Giant Tiger as we spent lots of time at other stores. Finally donated an item my brother unloaded on me last year along with some clothing items at Value Village. My prime list of things to buy was not successful, however, I did find 2 scarf clips, a watch (cannot figure out how to pry the back off-no tab) and short sleeve top for me and saved 20% with coupon! My debit card got a workout and I was hard pressed to pass a gift bag or wrap section in any store without checking out the eyecatching items (almost as bad as me looking for kitchen linens-yes I found a trio of them at Winners too that I could not pass up-have two old kitchen towels heading for the textile drive on Sat in my bag). Discovered carrying a roll of quarters came in handy as one store did say yes to my using lots of quarters with my cash bills --the quarters run out fast at the store! Did visit the Salvation Army for sweaters-no successful woolen find but did see some ugly Xmas sweaters on the racks... Found a few things for Mom to enjoy passing time with as I remembered something she said earlier in the year.

I realized that I must buy one package of yard waste bags-the yard is giving me too many branches and cones and what not.

Managed a suppertime bus dash to get to Rexall for 10% off stamps *only P-stamps, no Xmas designs* but got two packages to get us through bills and likely my batch of cards this year. Decided to buy some MM Food Market items-had the Mexican Party Appetizers as late supper.

Last night's laundry load was meant to be line dried outdoors but by late afternoon today, the sky was watery looking. I put the load into the dryer.

Sleep_I find that I must be in bed by 11pm or else my night is fairly lousy. I get up early involuntarily and sometimes can go back to sleep in 30min but sometimes not. That's not a good start for me.

    Sweet dreams and sleep, everyone!

Since I am teaching for a different school division, some of my teaching days don’t match up with my own children’s schedule. Today is one of those days. My kids don’t have school today. I am still teaching online.

We are under a blizzard advisory for Saturday and Sunday. It’s from Lloydminister, Prince Albert, and South. It’ll hit all of my relatives, students, and myself. It’s massive!

    Good Morning Everyone,
Got up late this morning as I woke up with a headache and the extra sleep has not helped. Was hoping getting up and moving would help but so far this headache feels like it is here to stay, might be a long day for me.

Not quite how I planned to go into the weekend but maybe this is a sign I need to take this weekend as a self care weekend and just take care of me. For me this will mean a weekend on the couch with movies and snacks. We shall see how it goes who knows tomorrow I might wake up with a ton of ambition and decide to meal prep the day away instead, we shall see how I feel tomorrow but today is a get through work day and that will be about it type of day.

Does anyone else ever get bored with food? I feel like we just keep eating the same things and not that they are not good, yummy dishes but I am just bored with them and want something new. I have been on pinterest but nothing is peaking my interest and last night I even turned to our Cookbook collections but nothing seems to be jumping out at me. I really need to find some new recipes to try, I used to aim for 1 to 2 new recipes each week and think I may need to go back to this, give us some variety.

Alright time to get back to work, waiting to hear back from my Boss, I am trying to process something he set up but it is not working out correctly. Hopefully I get an answer soon and can get this off my plate.

    Have a great day everyone

Good sunny morning here. DH and I had coffee on the deck and I'm toying with putting long shorts on for the afternoon.

I spent yesterday morning, strategizing my shopping and printing coupons. Once I arrived at my first destination, I realized that I forgot my coupons lol. Isn't that always the way. I made a decision to do some shopping anyways for items I didn't have cpns for. Rexall had stamps 10% off and Charmin was on for a good price with points. A few items at SDM but they were out of Omega 3 Burnabrae. Then onto Metro for a few things including stewing beef(finally a good price) and ground beef). I did get my Quaker oats for .99 cents and free sour cream from a cashier double coupon scan.

I met with neighbours later in the day to help each other with coupons. We help each other with copies of flyers (we have a box that clears out quickly). Now we're going to try to look out for coupons for each other and chat once a week re 10 best deals we're planning on shopping for.

Doing some cleaning and then playing ukelele in a zoom session. Playing "The Rose" and "Mr Bojangles" today. Have a good one!

I took a vacation day today and slept in. Planning to go for a walk, do some errands and drive to see my mom so a trip to Costco will happen along the way. @SassyAshley we have the same issue. We always ate dinner as a family but it was never 7 nights a week. It’s the 7 nights that is killing me. The older son helps a lot and loves cooking but he feels the same rut. So we are all looking for new ideas. This week we did fajitas, pork carnitas, dumplings and roast beef and I have no idea what we had Monday.

Morning! Just made an egg on a bagel with cheese. Now I need coffee!

I plan to hit a SDM in the next town and check out the clearance area and see if its worth the point offer I have. Never know what I will find.

Sink is full of hot soapy water. Will wash up the dishes and have them dry on the counter and DS can put away when he returns from school. (his sink full of dishes...)

    Have a great day!

Spent the last 45min outside with the kids. Cleaning up toys, etc. In preparation for this blizzard. Estevan isn’t supposed to get that much. My students and relatives are right in lune to get the worst of it...30-60cm in Saskatoon.

Received my CO51 cheque for $23.10. $6 sale today, stuff I posted for sale a long time ago.

    Good Evening Everyone,
it became one of those days, the project I was working on turned out to be a lot more work then I had expected, even after working on it most of the day I am not done. As well it was just one of those "issue" filled days, not a lot of calls this morning but this afternoon my phone was ringing constintanty.

Our original plan for dinner was scrapped as I did not stop working until well after 4 so tonight's dinner will now be make tomorrow. Tonight I pulled a Chicken Parm from the freezer used some leftover Pasta as a side dish, made a Cesar Salad and Garlic Naan. I should have enough lettuce to get through this week but hopefully when I go Costco will have lettuce when we go. There have a been a few time we have gone they have not had any.

I went over all of the flyers after work well I waited for dinner to cook and honestly not really much in the sale that interests me. I mark a few things but if we do not get them we won't miss them although I would like to get more dish soap.

Still trying to come up with some dinner ideas for next week. Thinking if I have ambition tomorrow (I am okay if I do not, I would totally accept this weekend as a self care weekend and not at all feel guilty about it) I think I might tackle out chest freezer and see what I find. I just cleaned it out so I know there is nothing to be tossed but wondering if there are some odds and ends I can use up and make some more room. I would like to try to get some freezer meals done next weekend but I need to find space to store them.

Alright think I will spend some time on Pinterest and then it is off to bed for me.

    Have a great night everyone.
