I just made black bean brownies for the first time and they are amazing! I gave DS a sample to try and he likes them.

Possibly! I know when I did a Ricki's order (online sale and I saw a sweater worth paying for plus shipping), it came from Winnipeg. Seems all chains have a dedicated online centre if closest stores don't have stock for orders.
I will admit to signing up to some sites' newsletters only to get the initial discount offers on first purchases-helpful if I was not reaching the minimum purchase amount for free shipping.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

Am kind of surprised that school supplies are considered non-essential at Dollarama (on Yahoo News) during the current Ontario stay-at-home lockdown with closures of non-essential stores. I anticipate that bartering and swap sites will be very popular for people needing clothes, kitchenware or school stuff for family members. Gardening supplies or at least the tools could be as popular as well-given that gardening centres can only operate at 25% capacity.
If anyone has a new appliance coming to their home (or a friend's or extended family member's), see if you can get the big cardboard box for kids' fun or art (using the plain sides for bigger marker/crayon/painting works.
Mom ventured to the local Walmart early Wednesday afternoon and saw a packed parking lot. Her friend needed a few things from the store. Made me glad I went out Tuesday night and did not have any lineups to contend with.
I had sliced the remaining half watermelon two nights ago and it's been refreshing in the early morning (that early wakeup situation that sometimes has me hungry), as a snack and a late night pick me up. Also the clementines from the fruit box are delicious as well. Noticed that other SCers are finding the fruit tasty too. I have a box of strawberries to use up tomorrow plus some eating apples and red grapes. Having the fruit options really helps in the snack dept and as dessert too.
Wish I had a bar fridge in my room so I won't need to creep to the kitchen whenever I need a drink or 4am food item.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

Yard work is in progress as of yesterday. Will need lots of energy to tackle a spot that needs more effort than my current self can muster but a good rest and early start on Saturday (unless tomorrow dries off enough after the rain) should get me close to finishing what I intended to do. Will need lots of carbohydrates.
I had to nap after I stopped for the day. Then tv was a good way to make the relaxed feeling last.
@Angela _273 Two days ago on Cityline, I caught the tale end of Winston Sih's tech talk and he was saying there are VR apps for virtual travel i.e. Hawaii's volcanoes. If you look at the last item (5th) on his list, you can link to the Louvre, Yosemite Park and the virtual travel app with the volcanoes and more! Think you might find them relaxing. https://www.cityline.tv/2021/04/06/g...ring-cleaning/
I also glanced at Netflix's April offerings and cannot see anything that meets your criteria for relaxing. As for anime on Netflix, your older DS might like My Neighbour Totoro (you might have explain the sento/hot bath custom as there is a scene where Dad and daughters are using an outdoor one at home) for its gentle scenes and forest creatures. The story relates to the children's mother being away at hospital and the main girl's adventures with Totoro and friends. The other anime, Ponyo, is about a fish girl that wants to live on land with a young boy's family after a storm raises water levels high (could be good for all your kids). I'm avoiding any heavy topic/war anime because it won't be relaxing for you to have to explain all of these things right now for your children.
I'll sift through more Netflix titles this week to seek suggestions for you and DH. As for Disney+, do you ever watch the Behind the Scenes type content? I have not been on Disney+ in a few months, so I'll pop on there tomorrow to scope out some titles for you.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

Happy Friday everyone.
I was not feeling my best yesterday, my tummy was feeling off. I was able to push through the day and get through my work day. I am starting to really agree with some of the studies. I read one where they said those now working from home do not take sick days and I have to admit to some degree it is true. Yesterday had I of been in the office working I would have come home, but since I am working from home I took a few small breaks and just got back to work.
I went to bed early yesterday, I was in bed at 8 pm. I also let myself sleep in an extra hour this morning, I have been getting up at 5 am to keep up with everything going on but today I let myself sleep till 6 am. I am feeling so much better today, still a bit tired but that is just life.
I have one training session today and a challenge to give and then it is just catch up.
Have a great day everyone.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

TGIF!!!! Can't wait till the work day is done so I can start the weekend. So many things I want to tackle!
The counter was full of drying dishes last night. I put them away before bed even though I didn't want to. (Was nice to wake up to a totally clean kitchen)
I put laundry away last night and have a load of towels in the dryer to put away this weekend. Will put a load on in the morning and hoping for sunshine to hang outside to dry. Will get DS's school and work clothing washed and hung up for when needed after the school break and lock down.
I agree now is the time to post Spring/Summer clothing for sale with porch pick up. This is my mission this weekend to get organized and posting since I work from home the next 2 weeks which makes it easier for porch pick ups. Setting myself a goal of $100 in sales by next weekend
Let's see if I can do it!!
I cooked pasta last night for pasta salad. I meant to make it this morning but just remembered now lol. Will make it when I get home from work.
Stopped at Valumart for marinating steak on sale but of course there was only 1 package available (I don't know why I bother trying to redeem for meat sales there when I have point offers and a plan to stock up. It never happens. Will stop there tonight on way home and see if I can get more. They are perfect for steak fahitas and my dinner plan of steak/shrimp/baked potato/asparagus.
Hope your day is frugal

My guy picked up an air fryer the other day so we are going to play with that for dinner tonight. He is really wanting to try tofu in it. I am excited to dry mushrooms in it. I told him he was in charge of making a garlicy dip for the mushrooms

Overcast here now so I'm sure the rain will come at some point. Feels like a Monday not Friday!

I wish the rain would come here, I am really getting a weather headache.
We have an air fryer, we love it but like the Instant Pot I need to get more creative with what I cook. I tend to fall into staples that get cooked that way. I am trying to branch out and have more options.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,
