My ankle brace came from Amazon. Noticed an improvement within an hour. Its a little bulky for boots but will be good in my running shoes. I also got some rubber toe separators, and surprising they are helping as well.
Gorgeous sunny day, but didn't get much done, very tired, so I spent the afternoon napping. Time to put out recycle and green cart and make dinner.

@cath007 *HUGS*
Some things I have embraced in 2023:
I found by doing less I actually get more done. Instead of trying to do everything in a day, I am realistic about what I get done in the time frame I have. I used to make myself go from the time I woke up until I went to bed whether it was work or the house but then I would crash and get nothing done. Now I look at the time I have and if I cannot get it done there is always tomorrow.
Small things make a big difference, right now I am working 12 to 13-hour days working on the upgrade. But I decided last week I was done with quick-fix dinners, yes I am busy but I am taking the time each night to make a proper dinner, will I work well it cooks sure but I won't not making something so I can work instead. As well, well I eat is my time, if I want to sit and scroll Facebook or Instagram well I eat dinner that is my time. Most nights I take about an hour to two for dinner, that is my time and even though I will work after dinner mentally it has helped me so much.
Done is better than perfect. On the weekend did my Kitchen floor need a good mop down, yes, but I gave myself an hour to do as much cleaning as I could and there was no way I was moping the floor. in that time frame So instead I vacuumed and used a Swiffer wet cloth, was it perfect no, but was it done yes. Same a few weeks ago instead of scrubbing down the bathroom, I used spray cleaner and wiped it down, perfect no, done yes.
I get it things have deadlines for me, we go live on April 3rd. Everyone has to be trained and ready to log in and able to use the system, do I have to work overtime right now, yes but can I still take of myself and my house, yes, I just have to do it in different ways. Trust me this was so hard for me, I am used to going all in but I saw myself crashing and realizing I wasn't going to make it to the 3rd, can I say I am only working 7 to 5, no but I can say Dinner is my time, I cook a proper meal, I get my online time and on weekends I have a bare minimum of things that have to get done at home before I work.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

That’s great that you have noticed improvement so quickly @barbis9
Good luck @cath007
@SassyAshley I heard about CT. Not that it really matters to me since I rarely if ever shop there ( I think I’ve been scarred from my days of working there years ago) but I wouldn’t pay. I already pay for Costco and that’s because it’s financially positive for us and our shopping. Mind you I also don’t pay fees for credit cards or pay for banking fees.

Good Morning!
Dropped DS off at school. Popped in No Frills and spent $3.85 on a loaf of rye bread and a cantalope.
Then stopped at Independent on my way home to grab another free 2.7KG Lasagna!!! Saw the offer again on my app so thought I better get it ASAP before there are none left! Also grabbed the last 3 boxes of Annie's Shells and cheese for $1.99 for DS (had offer) I would have picked up more for him but there were only 3 on the shelf.
Enjoying my coffee and starting my work day. Will make eggs and toast for breakfast then tidy the kitchen.
Have a fantastic day!

ha ha, that was the article I posted in last week's and this week's CT flyer because I couldn't figure out where to place it. Now I know, next time I'll tell you guys in this thread. I certainly would never pay CT to shop there, I hardly ever go there as it is.
Nothing major on my to-do list for Thursday. Friday I'll do a top up shop. @cath007 we all have your back here, I read some members valid suggestions for you on how to maximize your time. Exams are always stressful, don't worry, it's not just you freaking out. Hope all goes as smooth as possible and you pass!

Hope everyone is having a great afternoon.
Just got off the phone with my friend. Almost an hour chat. Looking at my schedule and making a plan to go down and visit (4.5 hr drive ugh) but I feel Spring is around the corner so I am going to make a tentative plan!
Just cleaned out everything from under the sink. Cleaning a much needed pipe that needs the gunk cleaned out. Been wanting this done for a long long time!

Well girls just went home as i am so tired right now.I treated them to dollarama and they each got a 2 toys $ 5.00 each total .I found ashlyn a pair of furry mitts for 3.00 as every where is sold out .I didnt get a great sleep with the little one ,poor little cara has to see a specialist ear ,nose and throat in time.
Last night we had Mcdonalds $20.00 total for 3 of us hubby only wanted a seniors coffee ,they actually charge you .50 for an extra plum sauce (ashlyn only likes mcdonalds ones she told me ).
A toothbrush feel down our upstairs sink before the girls came and now it will be a plumbing job for hubby and the threads are stripped .Then hubby decides to open our gate in the backyard and he must have given it a shove due to ice and accumulation of snow around it ,the hinges are now broke on the bottom 2 .When it rains it pours right.Last edited by coupon girl; Thu, Mar 16th, 2023 at 04:45 PM.
