A rant i have been meaning to post but now i have to!! Justice served!!!!

So last week I went into WM. When I went down the diaper isle there was 6 boxes of opened pampers!! Then I went to SDm later that day and down the pad/tampon isle there was 4 boxes of open tampons. All marked on the outside with coupons. I assume they took them out. I didn't look because I didn't want anyone to think I stole them lol. It is so annoying that people are doing this. Just buy it!!!!!!!

Today after work i went to SDm for dove body wash. When I pulled up there was 2 cruisers outside. I think. Boy shoplifters!!

there was no body wash down the isle so I start checking the ends. i find it on one right by the pharmacy. So I start grabbing a couple. then the door open to the consultation room and the cops come out.........

cop: yes this has been happening alot. We have arrested quite a few ppl already
manager: she has been coming in for a bit and we have been suspicious but we have never caught her..

cop number 2 comes out with a woman in handcuff adn a SDM bag full of stuff. then cop #1 goes back in and comes out with 3 boxes of pampers diapers.

Cop#1: it is getting really bad.
manager: we have added extra secret shoppers at all our stores just for this. We are loosing so much money on people opening products just for the coupons. Our loss prevention is so high now.

It's about time.
So for all you coupon stealers watch out.... the cops are coming for you.

And the woman in Lonon Ont that stole the coupons. Serves you right!!

My guess would be damaging store property ( items) to obtain coupons.

not sure what they charged her with. I didnt hear that. they had her in hand cuffs and brought her to the back of the cruiser. I was not done so when I went to the check out they were putting her in the back and the 2 cops were talking. So she got arrested for sure. but I did not hear what for.

I just don't get some people...that's insane. And I'm definitely glad that she was caught. Those coupons were meant for people who actually bought the product that the coupons were in!
