Its a bit cooler today, and we are suppose to get rain this afternoon. A great day for a turkey I purchased a turkey for .89 a pound back in April and froze it. I'm using up all my freezer items this summer so that come fall, I can start with another round of fresh items.
So Im roasting a turkey, serving it with balsamic glazed carrots, garlic roasted asparagus, mashed potatoes, stuffing and of coarse a great peppercorn turkey gravy. I'm also going to make some biscuits to sop up all the gravy with.
Then, the next few days will be wonderful foods made from leftoversWe all need a little sunshine every now and then

Tonight's plan is ham and cheese sandwiches on crusty buns and watermelon slices. We had so much fun at our picnic in the park that we're gonna do it again! Different park though...just to keep it interesting.

Last night I made M&C, boiled veggies and salmon fillets cooked with lemon pepper and lemon juice. It was good.
I'm not sure what we are having tonight. Today is one of the nicer days we have had in quite a while. Only 23 outside right now, 10 degrees cooler than yesterday. Maybe we will bbq?Help me out with Swagbucks and we can both earn gift cards and PayPal money

i'm such a fool. i made a frozen pizza tonight and forgot to take the cardboard circle underneath out. *headsmack* in my defense, i had a 20 month old screaming and crying. but it was unsalvageable. leftover pasta instead.

I made a stir fry with broccoli, carrots, onions, peppers and kale with brown rice and a "honey" garlic and cayenne pepper sauce. Had some beans as well cause I had a hankering.
*not actually honey, just brown sugar because I had no honey. Same diff.Amazon and Starbucks GiftCards for Searching the net? Yes I did and so can you!
