Oh, TD, that looks so good!
Tonight, making homemade chicken noodle soup. Since it's Easter Week, we can have meat today!
I have yummy gravy leftover from roasted chicken, so I'll make chicken stew with that and the boiled chicken for Saturday. Kinda nice to have a plan ahead of time!Last edited by Natalka; Fri, Apr 9th, 2010 at 12:23 PM.

Oh that looks so good Turkish Delight. I've always wanted to try cooking egg plants but I don't know what to do with that purple thing. LOL. Do you mind sharing the recipe? Thanks.

Vee, no clue about that... ok, I googled it - so it's meat in a pita/wrap? Special spices?
Like this?

I don't know what I am having for supper tonight. I am in the middle of university finals and heading out to see my mom and the younger three kids tonight. I'll be eating whatever they are having.

There kinda like a Gyro but I think they season the meat diffrently, a Shwarma is a Lebanese food. You can choose if you want chicken or beef (I think) I usually get chicken and then fill it with hummus, garlic sauce, some kinda pickled Lebanese veggie ( I don't like it so I don't know what its called LOL) and other veggies. It taste very good!
I would usually go for a gyro but I haven't found any good places by my house..my fav is in Toronto but since BF can't drive due to his hand , a a shwarma is the next best thing.

hubby already started a pot of meatballs and spagetti. All i have to do is cook the spagettie when i get home. I find the food taste better knowing that i got the stuff using coupons. Don't you?
1 x catelli parmasen sauce $0.50
1 x large canned tomato $0.60
1 x catelli whole grain spagettini $0
1 x M&M italian meatballs $11
garlic and italian seasoning = YUMMY!

Since we had that yucky snow storm last night, I am craving comfort food: meatballs in cr of mushroom soup gravy, mashed taters and EB green/yellow beans.

I am soo with you! The weather is still crappy! Funny thing too, I was planning on making the same exact thing! BUUUUT I got invited out to my BFF's parents for her birthday so I shall be having FRESH REAL AUTHENTIC WILD PACIFIC SALMON, MMMMMM!
I say "real" salmon cause 90% of the crap they sell in the store is either
A.) frozen for gawd knows how long or
B.) mushy crappy farmed salmon.
Yes, Yes I fully admit I am spoiled, but I grew up on the coast and know good seafoodMMMMMMM One hour till the good eats!
