Yesterday I made cuban lunch chocolates, baked icebox shortbread with cherries and walnuts, and magic cookie bars.
This morning I'll make cheesecake squares if I have time after making cabbage rolls.

Made raisin scones for my mom today (her favourite!) and going to bake some cookies for tomorrow for the in-laws...still haven't decided which ones though.

Ladies, you're making me hungry! I baked some brownies today but I'm really excited about tomorrow because I'm baking some protein bars (first time) so Im really hoping they turn out OK. If they do, I'm saving $2.00 a piece.

I made the usual suspects some bread for dh and also made his bran muffins, but this time I mashed up 2 bananas that I had that were getting really ripe and put them in with the bran. I never said anything to dh, but watched him the next morning as he poured his coffee and took his muffin. As he bit into it he said mmmmm.......thats it, just mmmmm! Never said anither word

So later that morning, as we were eating breakfast, I asked him what he thought of his muffins. He said he thought the were fabulous!!!!!We all need a little sunshine every now and then

I made cake pops and fudge for Christmas with my extended family (which usually gets held on the weekend following Christmas.) I made a double batch if fudge because I figured it would get eaten up. Alas, no one was in a dessert sort of mood after all that awesome turkey so most of the fudge came home with me...where it is staring me down...I'm trying not to look...but I'm certain the fudge is going to win.

I just made a pan of blondies! These were a test batch so I just did them plain since I had never made them before and they turned out soooo good. They are pretty good plain but I know they will be 100x better with some sort of nut (I'm thinking either pecans, walnuts or almonds) and butterscotch chips. So will be making more tomorrow night after work and after I hit the grocery store to pick up what I want to put in the next batch.
