No, we chose another part of Cuba...we were thinking of Dominican Republic but I prefer Cuba and I feel safer there. We are not much for partying...the beach is what really caught my eye...white powder sand and turquoise water!

Morning everyone, well almost afternoon. So tired today. My tonsils, they are going to the death of me. I honestly do not know how much more I can take of them. This morning, I called the ENT clinic, just to see if they would be able to give me any kind of update. My appointment was in November & they said I should get in for February or March. Considering we are not far from FEB 1, I figured it would be any day that I would get the call. She says to me on the phone that they are still dealing with people from June. So it looks like I still have a long ways to wait. After I hung up, I just had a break down. I have always had tonsils that are enlarged, but when they flare up, that pain is so bad, added to the fact I cannot even breathe. UGH. I would post a picture of my tonsils, yeah I took a pic, lol. But I will spare you all.. haha.

Lindsbeth - I know what your going through I have enlarged tonsils as well...every time I go to a clinic I have to warn t he Dr my tonsils are big and I usually get a "WOW...are they ever!" lol But thank goodness they usually only flare up once a year now - worse when I was a kid but the pain is terrible! Are you eating Popsicle? Take a spoon of honey it will coat the tonsils a bit...I find that helps sometimes.
