There's two Bugsy's Box is what I've ordered. It was good stuff, you can pick the size of your dog so you don't get some itty bitty toy for your giant dog
There is a code for it ADDICTION for 30% off
BarkBox is the other one, it ships from the US but is free shipping to Canada, BARK10 to save $10. I've never done that one but it looks like you also pick the size of your dog.
I wish the cat ones in the US shipped here... waiting patiently! Or not

I have a Kobo and love it, I like that it reads different file types (mobi, epub, etc) a friend has a Sony eReader and hers won't read mobi files. My dad uses his blackberry playbook and my mom uses her iPad sometimes. I prefer most books as ebooks but I like cookbooks in paper form, and one series because I want it that way lol.

I dunno....I'm kinda iffy on the whole reading a book from a screen thing...i mean, i have terrible eye sight and I already stare at the computer screen enough, lol.
I also have tons of real books I haven't read yet lol...I looooove chapters though! I've had to stop myself from going there a couple times, I just end up spending money on books that will sit on a shelf for months..or years, heh.

Freezing rain and nastiness (on top of a 3:30 am play time with Alexa) mean no Green Living Show for me today
Furthest I'll be going is the gym 2 blocks away from me! Too bad, Alexa and I could definitely use an outing because otherwise tired mommy may be a little 'frustrated' today!
Buddy - I found a couple of things yesterday that I could definitely add to my wishlist.
- Walmart has Martha Stewart cupcake papers called 'lace' or something like that...they're white with grey designs on them in their cake decorating/crafting section. I was able to get 2 packs of 48 but I need one more for my wedding! (They only had 2 in the store).
- 6" cake pan or an 8" cake pan
- mini loaf pan
- regular envelopes
- paper clips (how is it that you have so many of them that you think you'll never run out, and then...)
- mini loaf pan papers
- plastic safety plugs for the electrical receptacles so Alexa doesn't electrocute herself

So, I woke up with a blazing headache today and downed 2 extra strength tylenols first thing and went back to bed. Matthew woke me up a while later to give him a ride to school. Grudgingly, I got ready, went outside, nearly broke my hip getting to the van, it was so icy. Van doors were frozen shut! Are you kidding me? Matthew tried to get them open for a good few minutes but they wouldn’t budge. Not ONE door. Forget it, ok, take a snow day. Great, I’m grounded home for the day. Well, so much for getting an early jump on grocery shopping. Headache was still blazing…perfect start to the day.
We started to straighten up a bit, but he was feeling crummy too (he’s getting the flu). So we watched tv for a while and chatted. Then I said ok, let’s resume cleaning up…ding dong….ok who is that? We didn’t finish straightening up yet L. Surprise company? Who is at the door? It was Canada Post delivering THIS monstrous box! Hmm what could it be, what could it be? I remembered briefly reading someone in the thread already mailed their package to their buddy. Hmm…could it be?? YUP, it was MY box!! Holy cow, are you serious?? I’m STILL shopping for my buddy.
The mailman said whatever it is, it’s HEAVY! Ok, I took the box and put it in the corner as I was wiping down my cupboards and was going to resume the dishes when Matthew shouted...”OPEN IT NOWWW MOM!!” LOL…so I gave in and did!! Dishes and cupboards be damned! Here’s what was inside:
Things I got in my package from Armygirl_29
:
- Wilton Cake pop mold (OMG, OMG, OMG! I can’t believe you got it for me!! J)

For my daughter Melissa
I haven’t opened her box, although I wanted to. I thought I will let her open it and let us both be surprised. Once she gets home from work later this evening, I will update this post with the contents of the box.
Armygirl_29, thank you so, so much for the amazingly sweet and thoughtful package! Geez, I think “thank you” can’t express my gratitude to you. Your kindness and generosity has overwhelmed me. I am deeply touched by the thought and care you put into my package. It was really like Christmas morning!! Honestly! I love everything you picked out for me – absolutely everything! I’m so excited to use my cake pop mold, which I will probably do tomorrow…after I go to the gym…HAHAH!!
You went over and above the requirements of this train and I DO feel truly spoiled rotten today! I was having a pretty crummy day until the mailman rang the doorbell. I packed everything back in the box for Melissa to open when she gets home as she is helping me with my buddy list and I want her to see how generous you were to me.
Thank you again!!Last edited by Trinimoneysaver; Fri, Apr 12th, 2013 at 07:44 PM.

Thank you for the offer. I have not noticed that she does not smile, but I know they are having a hell of a time with her medication. The worst part is the doctors are not listening to my Opa or her Caregiver. Recently my Oma stopped eating, we were told it was the Alzheimer's nothing they can do just try to force her to eat (we could not, I have seen her say no to food but if you put it in front of her she would eventually eat it, but this time no, she just would not eat they tried everything including feeding her) after some research we found out it was one of her medications, took her off it and now she eats, put on like 5 lb in a month maybe less. Also before she got bad they tried to tell us she had Alzheimer's (really she did) but it turned out her memory loss and confusion was again due to one of her medications so now that she really has memory loss and confusion we cannot get the doc to listen to us, took my Opa months to get them to listen to him.
We did not have snow we had ice, everything was covered in ice. Took me forever to get it all off my car the drive to work was horrible and I was the only one who made it, so I did the last day of booking promo alone. I think I need to hide in the corner for a bit.

- Sassy, so glad to hear your Oma is eating, thats one thing FIL flatly refused to at the hospital, maybe once a day, wouldn't believe what i did to try and get him to eat. once he hit the nursing home two month later he wasn't eating at all.. be grateful she's eating. one tip... let her eat anything she wants. i wanted to so badly but was told NO thats not good for his Diabetes. really? grr.
