Morning, all......busy day...You all may know about my best friend of over 25 years, who was diagnosed with ALS and moved with her hubby to Pickering to be with their two daughters....Well, her hubby is in town to check on the house, etc, and he and my hubby are out golfing today, then he's coming over for dinner. Oh, I wish she could have taken this trip up here with him, to see her home again and to be here with us like the good old days..But we're planning on going there later this summer to visit them...We'll have to find a pet-friendly hotel in the area, but that shouldn't be too difficult to do. I don't want to stay with them since she tires easily and would feel she'd have to be up with us into the evening...God, I miss her so much.....

Anyway..Nat, enjoy that hot shower! Did you have a chance to see that Dr Oz show re sleeping?

And I have to add.....count your blessings today...you're alive, breathing, able to walk around, go wherever you choose to, eat whatever you please, speak with loved ones.....just know that there are others who cannot.

Best Western Hotels are pet friendly! Some even provide sleeping beds for dogs lol
I Know one gave my friend a doggy treat bag, had a toy, some treats inside

Well, no water heater yet.... and it's almost noon.

We made it to our field trip today and DD had a super time!

Walk in the door and there's a message from the doctor that she tested positive for Strep throat. Ahhhh! Not again! It's the 3rd time this year. Have the RX for when she gets home and DS and I are booked to get swabbed tomorrow at 9:15am.
