I just received my receipt/forms back from the Resolve Oxi Action rebate.

The rebate company says I purchased the wrong item.

I bought the Resolve OxiAction 650 g trigger bottle.

Did anyone else buy the same?

Any advice for the future as to where acceptable UPC codes are listed?

I'm annoyed as I showed this to many people. I always double check that I am buying the right item, the right size etc before doing a MIR. Im out over $5 x 2. This is a product I wouldn't have necessarily bought without this rebate. I was bound to screw up sometime :-(

I like instant rebates. I mess up the mail in rebates one two many times.

I think the 650 g was only for the powder. I believe the liquid was a different size. There must be a copy of the form somewhere online

If I remember correctly it was for powder or liquid, I do not think the triggers were included in the rebate.

I have the MIR in front of me and it reads: Offer is only valid on (1) Resolve Oxi-Action In-Wash Stain remover 765kg or 1kg Powder or 650ml Liquid product. Not valid on any other Resolve product.

It states these products four different times on the MIR.

The 650 ml trigger was liquid so I assumed it was right. Is there other liquid?

I emailed Resolve just I can find out more.

The Resolve that you bought was for the regular stain remover. The MIR was for the in wash remover. This is a liquid or powder that gets added to the detergent at the same time when you wash your clothes. It works great btw.

this is why i don't depend on mail in rebates, i'll never buy something JUST for the rebate (if it was a FPC sure, BUT not buy now get money back later) you have a risk of getting denied, of just NOT getting the money back...i've once had a MIR check bounce on me! ended up costing me about $50 after it bounced then causing a chain reaction

I hope they list the UPC's on all REbate forms..some companies do that..its not that hard to do ..so as to resolve ( no pun intended ) any confusion.

I was VERY careful with this one as it stated specific names and ml's.

I bought the trigger and then returned it as it did not state "In wash laundry stain remover" cause the bottle just said stain remover. The liquid one was red with no spray top just spout.

Funny thing was just going to call reckitt benkiser because I never got my lysol pump soap MIR back but everyone else in my family got theirs.

I've learnt the hard way from this specific MIR (lysol) to NOT use the product until you get your cheque and have cashed it. If I don't get a cheque then their product gets returned to Walmart, where I bought it without the receipt. Luckily Walmart has great customer service in regards to returns without receipts.

But regarding the Resolve MIR I thought it was pretty obvious it was either the powder or a detergent bottle kind as those were what was pictured.

I am lucky with MIR's....I have gotten everyone back that I sent out EXCEPT that one for Nestle water last year(and I needed the water anyways). I am paranoid about it coming back so I read VERY carfully the whole thing about circling and writing on the receipt and such.

This one was weird though and easy(I thought) to make a mistake.

    Sorry OP that is sad

Lot of times you have to cut the original bar code out and mail it in ..so returning products is hard , even if unused without a bar code
