Thanks everyone, yeah I was shocked about the number of kids. I remember at the beginning of the year saying to Ashley that maybe she should see about having Ryder moved to one of the other 3 grade 1 classes, but when she told me the number of children in those classes, it didn't really seem to matter. I guess in Ryders class, there is only the 2 teachers, there are no aids or anything, all the children in this split class work pretty independently so it worked out really well in the end (AND, he learned a few things in the grade 2 curriculum that will give him a slight advantage next year.

Okay!! Just got in from that 2-day camping trip, hopefully got back to everyone, and only read a couple of posts here, and whew am I pooped!!
I hope that we'll find a campground in the area where we'll be able to park the trailer for the summer and visit it when time permits. Hauling it around isn't any problem, the problem happens when I "help" hubby back the thing up the driveway!!! Yikes! It's so frustrating! But camping was fun...however, it's not the campground we'd choose to park for the summer.
I hope all's well with everyone!! I have a wedding and a rehearsal tomorrow, wedding Saturday, so I'll be doing paperwork and printing up ceremonies tomorrow....if I don't get back to y'all, I wish you all a wonderful, sunny weekend!!
Stay safe and have fun!!

I'm sorry your DD had to suffer through that...lol
not a trudeau fan - can you tell?
she's the cutie!I can't profess to understand God's plan. Christ promised the resurrection of the dead. I just thought he had something a little different in mind.

Morning, all - though I hesitate to call it 'good'...
I got sick with some sort of flubugger yesterday afternoon, it went on through the evening, overnight, and this morning... it's not special...
Hope everyone's day is great!

Morning everyone....gah, what a mess here. Flooding everywhere. No camping this weekend. The campground has been evacuated the river has flooded the campground
AND Calgary is flooding too. All of the downtown core is blocked off, nobody down there, it's like a ghost town. All the schools closed throughout the city too so we won't be going to Ryders school today
Not sure what I'm going to do with 48 cupcakes because my freezer is already full. I know we can move this activity to Monday (well I think we can) but I'll have to remake the muffins as these ones won't be fresh!
Last night, I booked a hotel room for the 4 of us to head to Lethbridge for my dd's baptism and now I'm worried we won't be able to get there. I booked on priceline.com to get a cheap deal so there is no cancellation policy
So....my fingers and toes are crossed that we can make it to Lethbridge today. We'll leave when dh gets home (he had to move some piece of big equipment today).
Sooooo, other than that....it's raining again...yuck. Hope everyone has a better day than we're having here in Calgary. We all need a little sunshine every now and then
