Sex sells? I don`t see anything sexual about the photo. Worse things out there to be offended by.

I am not offended by this ad at all. I do not even see how it is remotely sexual. The ad is directed towards women, not men.
If it was a bunch of bikini clad women jumping up and down for beer, not that would be sexual, but a woman, showing her side and covering her breasts up for a woman's shampoo.....not seeing it.Love like crazy everyday and smile.

We live in a province where topless women are allowed in public without repercussion. . Why do people always assume nakedness = sexual? There are lots of countries where women are allowed and it's the norm for women to be topless at all times. It's all in how you perceive it. I am all for women's equality and rights. If I want to walk to Tim Horton's with no shirt on it does not mean I am being sexual it means I am exercising a right. (not that I ever would

As someone who suffers from a eating disorder I don't find this add offensive at all and really don't see how this add is promoting a unhealthy body image. You can't even see her body, you see shoulders and a side boob. The ads in the mall( American Eagle, Arie, Aeropostale, Pink and any lingerie store to name a few) are way more damaging in terms of promoting an unhealthy body image than this ad.

This is the thing that concerns me the most. First things start off small, then it goes
to the point of no return and then it becomes impossible to put the "genie" back in the bottle.......Last edited by maggiespice; Thu, Feb 13th, 2014 at 06:33 PM.

What starts off small? I don't understand why this ad would bring about these kind of comments. If it was an ad for a Summer's Eve product or some kind of other feminine product, would there be comments like this? Of course not lol. I'm sorry, but I do find this "controversy" laughable.

This didn't bother me, but I did do a double take for the ad for New York fries in the forum where it nsays says get your sweetheart an extra wiener for valentines day. I mean I did giggle a bit over it, but seems a bit tasteless! Now I am really giggling over the fact that I just said their wieners are tasteless. ... I think I will just stop while I'm a head...more giggling!

I am not offended, in fact I think it is quite nice...tasteful (considering the name of the product!)

The girl in the ad looks downright wholesome compared to the lingerie store posters that stare me in the face when i am walking in the mall.
My kids are not looking at grocery store flyers, so i'm not worried about them being led to temptation that way.In 2020 I had 100 FREE Grocery pickups! Subscribe to PC Optimum Insiders & get 25,000 PC Optimum pts
