It's 2 weeks before school starts and I couldn't buy a plain dark coloured skirt for Penguinette 2. Everything seems to be frilly skirts, leggings or jeans..

i'm surprised you couldn't.. have you tried old navy? you can often find uniform pieces and they tend to have plain skirts, plain pants, polo skirts and uniform dresses

sorry you are having a bad summer. sometimes we all go through periods in life where one bad thing seems to happen after another. having that sort of a summer too so I understand. writing it out sounds like a good idea.

I didn't because the nearest ON is around an hours drive away and I only had 3 hrs to buy a skirt, do any alteratons and get ready for a visitation for one of her friend's parents.

Had I had the time, I would have driven to the uniform shop used by the school and bought her uniforms for this year at the same time. The school has a plain blue or black skirt as options .

Bank institution again( I wont name the name of the Bank): I did some placements this week, only celli worthed in my favor because I am not a risk person,I understand you cannot have nothing without efforts, but at the end of the upcoming year my couponning and frugal living will be more saving-paying then that...I find the % pourcentage of rendement..pretty ridiculous.

that sucks! i know walmart gets in uniform pieces too but they might not have them in yet (i know because i've often bought the pants and the dresses just because i like that clean classic look)

    Some parents.

Decided to take DD to McDonalds playplace as a treat. We haven't been all Summer and since DH left yesterday (DS is at preschool) I thought I'd treat her.

We got there at 12:15 and there was a woman there with 5 kids. They had a few breakfast items left on their tray (so they had been there awhile). She left the baby to crawl around on the floor. The other 4 kids screamed non-stop and bullied the other kids. She couldn't care less. One mother complained and she pretty much just shrugged.

We ate lunch and DD went into the playplace. Not 5 minutes later she came out and said she wanted to go home. The other kids were too loud. The mother (sitting 2 feet) away laughed. Seriously? I explained (loud enough for that mother to hear) that some kids don't understand INSIDE VOICES because they haven't been taught. That stopped her laughing. She instead glared at me. Whatever.

I understand kids get excited and scream or squeal with glee (all kids do it) but these 4 kids screamed non-stop at the top of their lungs as a competition and the woman just laughed. Most of the kids were old enough to know better (like 8, 9, 10).

We were there a total of maybe 30 minutes and they had scared MOST of the other kids away. Such a shame! And to think they had been there for well over 1.5 hours by the time we left. How many kids did they scare away in that time?

Just really annoyed at some peoples behaviour. I can't even begin to think of the amount of germs on that floor that the baby was crawling on, or what happens when someone doesn't notice her?

I gave my grandmother a buy 2 save $3.00 coupon for Arm & Hammer because the 100 load is on for $5.99 at Sobey's Atlantic but the cashier told her they won't accept it since the 100 load isn't in the picture, so she ended up paying full price. If it happened to me I wouldn't really care, but now I am frustrated because I told her this would be a great deal and all

I have worked in fast food before, and I am cringing at the thought of how the workers must have felt listening to the screaming for hours too. And on top of all that they would have to worry about tripping over a baby every time they went to clean a table or anything.

I wasn't even there and even I am feeling annoyed with this woman.

My toddlers been up since 5:30, my oldest is cranky because the toddlers screaming woke her up at 7:00 and I have tons of errands to run today with 2 cranky kids.
My oldest's father just texted me and said they can't afford to get her indoor shoes for school because they've already spent 55.87(yes he made sure I knew the exact amt to the penny) on back to school stuff for her(a pair of shoes and 4 bras). Really? I've spent more on that just on school supplies, never mind that she needed new clothes because she grew, a backpack, lunch kit, water bottle, socks, underwear and the first few weeks of school always cost at least 100.00 for lunch orders, planners, fees, pictures etc, and now I have to add another pair of shoes to the list.
    Grrr
