What a week it's been!! My uncle passed away, he was 80 and battling lung cancer for 2 years, so the past few+ months have been a lot of suffering, etc..he passed away peacefully at home with all his family around, it was expected. There was an "irish" wake for most of the week, the funeral was yesterday....a lot of my family showed up to stay with me, it was pandemonium..lol...Monday night we had another night of high winds that knocked out my satellite (which is still not working) so no t.v. for the past few days for anyone to watch...and then in the middle of it all I got sick...good lord!! what a week...I'm still feeling under the weather, I've had a headache all week and persistent nausea, so just taking it easy today with grandma's homemade soup (maybe, if I can keep it down)

Well hubby wanted the hamburgers, but i looked in the fridge and found 5 yellow peppers that needed eating. So i decided to make baked stuffed peppers. I cut the peppers in half and cored them. Fried up some onions and garlic and make the stuffing for peppers with ground beef and rice. Will stuff the peppers later and top them off with some cheddar cheese and crushed croutons. Should be ok i guess. If not, oh well, such is life!

Oh no, that sucks on your lasagna!
For us tonight, chicken thighs cooked on my Cuisinart Griddler. I put a mixture of garlic, dried onion, olive oil, mustard powder, salt and pepper under the skin for a bit, then cooked it, very tasty.
On the weekend I hope to try making chicken shawarama. I have taken some chicken breast out of the freezer that is already in cubes, and will scale down this recipe: http://vahuntergatherers.com/2014/09...-tahini-sauce/
Hopefully it turns out!

Breakfast for supper - yum! Eggs over easy, on top of oven hashbrowns, with toast.
