I had planned on roasting a chicken for supper tonight, but Sobeys was all out when I went shopping there for 10% off day.

So tonight's supper became a clean out the fridge night. On the menu was egg noodles, alfredo sauce, dry ribs, Hawaiian pizza, celery sticks, fresh made potato and egg salad with a glass of milk.
LO had toast, rice, a dry rib, and a hot dog with milk.

Tomorrow night we are going out to celebrate our friend's 28th Birthday. Work really messed up his plans to go to Cuba, so we are all gathering a Eddie's for the evening. I'll likely get wings since it is Wednesday.

Thursday is my 30th Birthday. We booked our regular babysitter for the evening, but I work early in the morning so it certainly won't be a late night for us. Dh made reservations at Granby's, an expensive but sometimes disappointing, restaurant in town. It won't be frugal and will likely cost around $100 for the two of us, but we only go about once a year. I'm looking forward to having stuffed mushrooms, even with this all day sickness. I've got a soft spot for mushrooms.

I think I will have fish sticks and french fries ready for LO and the babysitter before we leave for the evening.

The school chef made ribs, smashed potatoes, stir fired red cabbage and broccoli-so my DH brought that home for dinner. Thanks goodness as I was out all day attending to other things and had not even really had time to think up a dinner plan.

chopped/grated, prepped and cooked all the fillings ( chili, romaine, cucumber, carrot, salsa, old cheddar cheese ) for soft taco wraps for when the guys get in from work. They knew that was what I was going to have ready for them, but now the problem is I just finished cooking another whole other scrumptious meal, ( in prep for their Thursday's work meal ) and they are gonna smell THAT coming in the door. hey! hands off that meal guys, eat your tacos.....lol.

For my husband, I have a casserole cooking with onions, carrots, cabbage, cauliflower, potatoes, cubes of pork loin, with 3/4 of a jar of salsa mixed in. Great way to make him eat veggies.
For me, baked potato with some raw veggies or salad - depends what I end up making.

I feel better, but not 'all' better - and food is def not high on my list.

ahhhhh....my first catering job was canceled due to weather ....but at least I know now I can do it (trial run) ..lol....I'll have no problem finding people to eat the food!! So, today is also my grandmother's 97 birthday , the family is having a dinner "party" ham & salads, etc...I would've taken the food there but they already have it covered!! So food galore this weekend!
