To get it corrected back to the correct wedding date DH had to write a letter, sign it and fax it to them. Her temporary fix should allow my CTB to resume but I won't get March's benefit until April now I'm hoping it's all fixed now.

I will be calling Turbotax to complain and I won't be buying their tax software again.

This is just really frustrating but certainly not financially devastating for me. For some families not getting their Child Tax Benefit for the month could mean they can't buy groceries or pay their rent...

The CRA could have just mailed me and DH a letter as obviously this was an error (we filed at the same time, we live at the same address etc....). There could have been a better way for them to handle this then to simply suspend my benefits....
I always use simpletax.ca and there is an opportunity at the end to check over the whole tax return. Doesn't turbo tax allow this?

I'm starting to lose my steam. ( drank too much wine last night). But will finish my laundry and try and post some new items for sale. I did wrap presents for a birthday next week. So proud of myself for being organized

Very happy. You guys are the only ones I can brag to because I bought little diapers and I am not referencing my pregnancy online except for here!!! Can't wait to see some surprised reactions in the summer when I share the addition. I swapped out some items to get the diapers and wipes because I had some good personal offers in my email.

For fun. The rest of my groceries from Food Basics! $97, no coupons, just sales. I think when you look at what I paid for everything at SDM and FoodBasics and consider that we are "gluten restricted" and buy many gluten free items, I did AWESOME!!! My highlight was a family pack of ground beef for 40% off (expiry on Tuesday!) It is already divided and in the freezer.

This will really help the budget this next pay period. Our fridge and pantry have not been this full in a long time.

I have been busy in the kitchen too today after my shopping:
    -baked one GF loaf (scratch)
-pulled pork for dinner in crock pot
-baked GF chocolate chip cookies (Pillsbury)
-made GF tuna macaroni for lunch tomorrow

Time to fold laundry and put my feet up!

Awesome shop Granger, I did a 100.00. Mostly food for my brother and the Easter stuff. I went to get Logan back from my parents today and they have a Zehrs close to them so I went looking for that elusive Uncle ben's rice with the chicken coupon and while I did not find them I did find Kraft cheese slices on sale for 2.99 with a pink sticker of 50% off. I never see that at RCSS. I also found mini weeks with the FPC on it and while I said no more cereal, I caved And bought 2, submitted to checkout 51 and they are good until Feb 2016.
I did not get the flyers this week so that always makes shopping tough. I think I will hit RCSS for a few no tax items and potatoes, I can only hope to be as lucky as FBM, they have been 4.00 a bag all winter.
Hubby did all the laundry while I was gone so I think I will bake cookies tonight.
Friends don't let real friends pay full price.

Thanks friends! By the way I am not usually this productive in a whole week! It is the last gust of March Break energy before my online course starts on Monday and I won't even have time to shower!

Did a load of laundry this afternoon. There was a message waiting for me when I got home. A couple ladies from Switzerland want some towels to take home with them at the end of the week. A friend who I haven`t seen since they got back from Arizona wants to have coffee next week. The house is a disaster area and we`re having company for supper next Sunday. Guess I need to get my butt in gear and get a lot of work done.

This is for all you poor folks back east dealing with snow again. I just read this: "You know you've had a rough winter when your snowblower has more kms on it than your car."
