I made pasta sauce yesterday, so we will likely have it with spagatini and meatballs.

I bought 4 family packs of lean ground beef from Sobeys yesterday for $3.99/lb, plus bonus airmiles. I am going to turn 2 or 3 packages into meatballs today and bake them in the oven. I like having pre-cooked meatballs in the freezer, it helps with nights when I am busy or tired. It can also help us avoid eating out extra. I'm 22wks pregnant with the twins, so I'm hoping to have cooked meatballs in the freezer as I get bigger and when the twins arrive. We aren't big casserole or soup eaters, so I'll have to keep thinking about other food things I can prepare in advance.

Angela-I am so impressed with all the energy you still have with this twin pregnancy, your little one and work-you go girl. And Granger too what with your pregnancy, little ones, work, course etc. And of course I get worn out reading about what the Energizer bunny( aka FBM) can accomplish in a lunch hour or evening-no offence FBM!! Lol-clearly I am not quite as young as some of you ladies but never the less I am off to spend two hrs working with one of the 4 year old twins( which really means both of them) on his speech and fine motor skills as he has some special needs. I would say 2 hrs wrangling 2 four year olds feels equivalent to a full days work back before I "retired". Keeps me out of trouble anyway. DD left for band camp this morning for a couple of nights so it will be pretty quiet with just DH and I. Perhaps a date night will be in order.

I just finished hand rolling 400 lean ground beef meatballs. The last pans are in the oven now. I will freeze the rest for later meals. I'm sore and tired but I think it will be worth the effort.

Not really sure, need to make a Costco run after work so it will be dinner on the go. Thinking Swiss Chalet sounds good but will have to see how much time we have.

I think I need to stop saying how we have to stop eating out as it seems like since I have been saying it we have been eating out more than ever.

It sure is a lot easier and less stressful trying to decide what to make.
