Hello folks! It finally stopped raining overnight. DB is coming over for Sunday Supper. DH has gone to get him. We managed to do a little shopping yesterday - but doggies and I got SOAKED trying to take a walk. Oh well, we had a "warm and dry" session - which means I use the hair dryer to blow them dry and then sit and snuggle under afghans until they're really dry.

I finished a book that Lynn had given me as a "summer read" and now I'm looking through my stash for another "nice" read.

Hope you are doing well today, Lynn! Thinking about you and hoping you are surrounded by "good people and good stuff" - and Jenny, of course!

Good morning, everyone!!
Just woke up from another 2 hr nap...it seems like that's all I'm doing lately, napping 2-3 hours every day! I'm absolutely bushwhacked!! And I'm wasting a gorgeous day out there!

We have our Grandson here, since his parents are working and it's only one day then we're all away at camp for the week!!
I have an appt with our doc today, not my surgeon, just our doc, then I think we'll all head over to Montana's for dinner, since that's his favourite restaurant.

Okay, they're back inside and want to head over to his house for a dip in the pool, so I have to hop into a blessed real shower this morning, finally!! Yay! I can take this bandage off and get wet!!
Pain is still there, but a couple of T3s at night gets me to sleep until about 4am until I need to take one more, but really...it's getting so much better!!!

Lynn, I am glad you can "Hop" into that shower- even in your mind! Thinking about you!
I am pretty much an "eclectic" reader. When I start a book, it takes a lot for me to not finish it. Right now I am looking for "happy" themes. I don't read non-fiction. I get that from TV.

I am fighting back a migraine. We got record rainfall down here over the weekend - not locally but in Chatham-Kent. Nice and sunny but I am in the dark for now. I'll be ok soon.

I really, really, REALLY need a honey-dipped donut!!! Or two! Or....more!
Hubby's to pick some up when he takes our Grandson home...or after his Dad picks him up.....

And our beautiful day has disappeared into rolling thunder and big rain!

Hubby's going to get a little wet getting those donuts..........but OMG, I'm craving them! Must be a reason...like when I crave orange juice...why fight the feeling, right?

Avon, on, those weather fronts that your area has been getting might have something tondo with your recent migraines...I hope you can get some relief, Sweetheart.

Hicks, yes, I did suggest you "get out there", lol, but goodness, a little R&R now and then wouldn't hurt.....

Well, I've caught up with CNN'S "The Seventies" series...it's so neat remembering those Watergate broadcasts, and tricky-Dicky's final departure...we were all glued to our black and white tvs...

Is it raining everywhere today except in Nat's area? Hope you get some relief from the heat soon, Hon!
