It was an easy dinner tonight. I made a hash with the leftover veggies from the platter I got at Costco with some onions and leftover BBQ chicken.

I made a milkshake for dessert using the best strawberry ice cream ever!( Edalen Dairy) skim milk and PC shredded coconut Greek yougurt. Man it was soooooooo good! Nothing better than strawberries and coconut. I added some chocolate chips to DH's shake.

LOL, well, they joked about it.... but after enough hours of it being on in the evening, the bedroom was cooled enough, still with a fan, though.

Tonight will be Pork Chops (hopefully on the BBQ), I think I will marinade them in Soy Sauce Worcheshire Sauce with some spices. We will have this with roasted potatoes and broccoli salad and maybe a garden salad depending on my ambition.

I found a great deal on turkey drumsticks yesterday (not normally available in most stores here). So we had those today and yesterday, REALLY good. Last night I even made a bit of gravy with them. I recently purchased a pressure cooker and have been using it all the time, so I did the drumsticks partway in there and browned in the oven.

I removed the bones from the drumsticks before serving, and tonight I used the liquid from yesterday and tonight, put the bones in from both nights and made a really nice broth in the pressure cooker. I purchased some turkey thighs at the same time, going to make some soup this week using that broth and the thighs.

I'm going to buy a roast chicken from CO-OP. Their app has a $3 off offer on it. We have leftover boiled potatoes in the fridge. I'm not sure what else we will have with it.

I want to use the leftover chicken with tomorrow's supper. I have some long skinny noodles in the pantry (forget the name), water chestnuts, thinly sliced carrot, thinly sliced celery, green onion from the garden, and make a sauce and put it all together. I'm already looking forward to that meal, just have to wait until tomorrow.

Husband's request (he doesn't do it often, he is SO sweet and usually is fine with whatever I make) is homemade chicken soup, so it's on the boil.

We usually eat lots of soup at suppertime, but a few hours later you know how you get hungry? So depending upon that, husband will eat off the bones and skin (his choice, lol! he loves it; I take all the meat off for another meal), and I usually have a sandwich.
