Good day, all!

Well, I know now that I'll be able to handle whatever comes my way, because there's the possibility of keeping cool now! I posted elsewhere, but for those of you who didn't see - my husband put in a window a/c in our kitchen. He got an old one from his work, and it works just fine. It may not cool off the whole house, but I know it help, that's for sure - it really did last evening. Gosh, how I love that man! He did it just for ME!

It sure helped with the evening, but not with the overnight because it's off.
It's really quite hot in here, even with a fan on me.

Heading to bed soon - I haven't slept yet, so I sure hope I can get to sleep.
I'll put the fan on turbo, and just make sure the big quilt is around my husband - he hates air blowing on him. Gah, we are so mismatched that way!

Good news is that husband has the day off today - his company celebrates Orangeman's day. Yeah, I had to google it, too, way back when - the Irish, Protestants, etc. I think the company owners are Irish.

Oh Loocie! You're torturing me! I LOVE a good blueberry pie and I can't eat sugar right now. We had lunch at a place called "Park's Blueberries" near us on Sunday. I had vegetable soup. GAH! I hope you enjoyed it!

Well, I've tried twice to get to sleep, to no avail... tried just listening to the radio, just to stay in bed a bit longer to rest, but I thought I'd try get up again and see what comes.
