You know what I should have done, Andi, was to send a load of beads to TO with my hubby when he flew down to Women's College Hospital for his check-up; perhaps you could have meet him there..grrr.

Yes, I'll post a pic of that Chakra bracelet as well as the soap I made last week (although I did post it in the Frugal thread for some reason....)

I DO wish this was a permanent thread thing...I can never find it when I want it!!

Soap: it has poppyseeds in the middle clearer layer for a bit of scrubbiness...

Chakra bracelet I made...all Austrian crystals, rhinestone rondelles, onyx beads, magnetic clasp. I wish you could see it sparkle..it's mezmerizing. So I made a stretch one for me..

It helps magnify the youthful spirit!

I love that crafting happens across the generations, as we can all see the beauty and hard work that goes into each piece! It inspires me to get back into crafting (and I just had laser eye surgery to regain long lost sight!).

Honestly, it's been lousy not being able to go shopping in the big city this summer or do some Christmas shopping there or New York...I'm spoiled now...we would have loved to go there again this fall, but I'm still not walking very perfectly and I sure can't walk for any length of time, so...there's always next year, Sweetie! Love to see you again!!!!

Hey, just cause Quincy cat is a boy doesn't mean he doesn't like bling.

And don't worry about walking around - the local pub has a really pretty patio with heaters (& yummy rootbeer!!!). And there are lots of actors in the 'hood, so always some eye candy around.

The pub sounds like a perfect place to sit and relax. As for eye-candy...meh. At my age I'm past that stuff....food and wine give me much more pleasure than oggling candy. Unless it's real candy. I can always go for real candy. Fudge. To be precise....

Ooh dear....you failed to mention that, Andi. Yes, dangerous neighbourhood indeed; I see many threats to my diet and my liver.
