Oh Haunish am so very sorry. Didn't hurt at all when I had it done other then a quickly passing discomfort, but then each person is different and there are times a patient will have a catheter hurt way beyond what is normal, not sure why but had it happen to me after I had my uterus and female organs removed. The catheter they put in me hurt so very bad and the nurses and drs all told me that they don't hurt like that but it sure as hell did and the ones they replaced it with hurt just as bad.

LMAO Andi that would be quite a shock for a parent. So sorry ur cat gave you a black eye, he certainly did get even for the bath!

Rose so very sorry about your job I just know something terrific is going to come along for you and you'll be so glad they let you go! Possibly it's a case that something will come along that will work much better for your theater obligations. Good Luck!

Went to the dr today for my shot and labs but the nurse was concerned over my bruising and pain which is quite a bit worse today. Can't touch my ribs on the left, my left shoulder or my left side by the hip area, hurts like fire. Some of the pain could be from the weather changing though, went from warm weather to cold and getting some bad thunder storms today and tomorrow with flood warnings.

I hope so I just want something to keep me busy at the moment though wish those people about the broadway show would call me back I tried to call them and all I get is the machine to leave my name and number and they will get back to me about auditions its frustrating but it would take care of 6 months of work for me and it would be something wayyyyy better then the jewellery store its still depressing though especially when everyone else is jumping into life stuff and I am kind of still where I was at graduation well I was further along at graduation then I am now because I was working on a professional theatre show and almost missed my grad night for a show...at least then I felt like the luckiest person in the world LOL oh well will keep looking for something hopefully something good comes up

I'll do you one better. This morning I was giving the critters a pedicure. I was using my Xmas present, a handy dandy nail grinding thingy, to smooth out the edges after clipping the dog's nails (it doesn't work very well on big tough Labrador nails) & my sweetheart of a dog was handing me her front paw. That's the moment my goofball cat decided to jump over my head. I ducked & now I'm sporting a black eye where my head connected with the dog.

I knew they would get revenge on you somehow.

anyone live in TO and want to house an actor for a few months LOL
some feature film wants extras to be in it $100-$250 a day but I live two and a half hours from Toronto *sigh* wonder if they would find housing for us or if I would have to live in a hotel for 3 months LOL

yikes and I just signed up for it through one of the acting sites I'm on and it said they will contact me with more info about the film...so if they do I will ask them about housing etc see if its possible for me to do it would love to live in TO for 3 months would also love to be paid 100-250 a day to be an extra too LOL but I want to know how often out of the 3 months I would be needed so I could figure out living expenses etc and see if its worth doing if it is then I am so there pretty much (well auditioning at least)

Rose hope this works out for you. I know being laid off stinks but something bigger and better is just around the corner. As for the gig in Toronto hopefully they will find something for you in regards to lodging or it is expensive in the city.

ya I know its expensive in the city thats why I need to see if they set something up for us or what...otherwise its a no go because I would end up spending more to live there then I would be making for the few months

So I don't know if I mentioned this before but my eldest who is 3 has had some speech delay, no real problems other than laziness and possibly confusion due to 3 languages around him. So we did some speech therapy and it helped him alot, made him try to speak when before he would not even try a word he knew he could not do. Anyways new sentence of the month 'no fair mommy , why is it?' everytime he is in trouble. Just happened now which is why I am mentioning this now

i guess its not that big of a shock i was expecting it all week pretty much...but part of me was hoping that they were just saying that and would end up keeping me so I had hopes up that it would work LOL even though everyone I talked to told me that I wouldnt be working a day after christmas

Oh we've been saving a large ribeye steak for a special occasion so dh is going to make it today with texas toast and corn on the cob for our anniversary dinner. 17 yrs today and we've been together 19 yrs in March. Yummy yummy yummy!

my foot - to make it even more painful, the specialist gave me an
injection of liquid something to kill any possible roots. OMG was so
painfull that I screamed at the top of my lungs. A nurse came in
saying people were leaving the office because of my screams.
He was telling me to stop screaming so I told him I would if he allowed me to give him an injection. The hole was so huge and
wouldn't heal & I had to return to his office. The nurse said "Oh no,
I remember you" LOL

You gotta love when they tell you to stop, I had a dentist once I dont take freezing well, he gave me 4 shots in the mouth and started instantly didnt wait. I was screaming bloody murder, i remember leaving the office and my parents were like you have no idea how fast this office emptied..lol...that must have hurt bad though on the bottom of foot

Am feeling a bit better now, just dont like to be told to calm down, when I am in pain, they have no idea what a person can take or not. Glad I had supper going in crockpot, did tangy beef sandwiches was very good and the toblerone was yummy too..lol
