Had an appointment with my rheumatologist this morning. On the way back I stopped in Millbank. Left 20 towels at Millbank Cheese and 40 towels and 5 baby afghans at AnnaMae`s. Don`t have any left so it`s back to work again.

Peeking in for a hello. Cleaner cancelled this week so I had to clean my own house...definitely keeping room in the budget for her! It took 3 hours of precious time away from my littles and made me stressed! Maybe once I am no longer nursing or when baby is mobile I can let it go but for now it is my saving grace!!! Felt awful having to put baby down all day.

Granger: I agree cuddles are far more important than a clean house. We no longer have a cleaning service but I loved the moment of clean house when we did.
So I still have not turned on the heat. This warm spell has been awesome but it's over so soothe heat goes on.

well I don't need much groceries was gonna wait til next week,but sister-in-law asked me if I could take her to freshco -and it gives me a chance to see my older brother -so I told her I will pick her up at 10.00 -chat later-she has 2 boys 40 and 46 and one doesn't drive -other works in Toronto -so I its a nice gesture - I do need a few items

Jaw drop at the price of cauliflower-$3.97 each. They were 97 cents what three weeks ago? Wowsers.

I had to buy one at that price. I'm happy to see it's dropped back down to $2.47 this week, but the ones at RCSS have been teensy. It did hurt less when there was the 6000 points WUS $20 on produce offer, so it felt a bit like free.

QOTD: Have you had to change shopping habits because of a change in pricematching policies?

It seems like No Frills, Walmart, and RCSS have scaled back their range for pricematching. I hope stores don't do away with it completely!

TGIF! What a crappy day lol! Good day for working and date night at home tonight!

My RCSS hasn't changed anything with PM'ing...yet. Was happy I was able to PM the unico canned tomatoes the other day for .67 cents. I grabbed 12 and cashier didn't bat an eye. Happy to be stocked up! Didn't see too much for shopping this week but do have a few offers and Spend $30 get 3000 pts so will use for sure. Saw a few bonus point items that it would be worth my wild to buy.
I will cry if I can't PM at RCSS anymore... since I don't use coupons really this is what saves us money.

SIL went home yesterday- so a happy ending to that medical drama-and we look forward to seeing her next summer when we attend her sons wedding in the US. Has anyone figured out a way to use that coupgon app on something other than a smart phone as I only have a dumb phone-lol. They seem to actually have money off fresh food like chicken, fruit, veggies etc at Co-op as I don't tend to buy a lot of processed foods which is mostly what Checkout 51 seems to have. On the price matching front, as far as I know, my No Frills still does which is nice.

Stripped all the beds this morning and getting all the bedding washed up. Neither DH or I are working next week and DD only has 2.5 days of school what with Remembrance Day and PT interviews so should be a pretty chill week around here. Today is report card day and I know DD has been working hard and doing her very best, so we are pleased with the marks we have seen online. She of course would like to get higher so she can get into the top universities of her choice but we explained as long as you are putting in your best effort we are satisfied and not everyone is able to get 95 in everything-including myself lol!

Hope everyone has a nice weekend-we have had a chillier week but are expecting a warm chinook wind to blow in tomorrow which is always welcome.

-well popped out to freshco with sister-in-law -I saved 20.20 in specials 17.20 in coupons and 14.64 in price matching so grand total 52.04 -yippee thought I only needed a bit of items but I needed more spent 85.00-my sister-in-law had half of what I had and spent 78.00-she price matched a few items -but she takes sooo long to grocery shop -ah well
-got give my brother a big hug he is doing good its been just past a month since he had heart surgery -the only thing he mentioned to me was he is not a back sleeper and it hurts to sleep on his side-I gave him a 25.00 giftcard for freshco instead of a fruit basket or flowers just a small gesture but they are both on a pension and live in an apt so this will help them a bit -hey I noticed even in freshco every fruit and veggies is going so much higher in price than the summer -was able to price match my yellow potatoes 10 pound for 2.49(starksky) regular 3.99 freshco price

just read back a few posts to catch up. TGIF to you all! I did a real brain fart move just now. Uploaded my receipt to CO51 for broccoli ( PM'd Freshco sale of $1.29 ) and clicked " submit " , only to realize I had bought it at NF!! ( It had to be from WM!! ) What a dolt!
The better news is I bought 6 ( yes six! Mmmm ) 100 gr. Cadbury Dairy Milk bars at NF priced at 2/$3.00 and CO51 already approved all 3 offers!
( $6.00 back, so they cost me just .69 each including tax! )
I hid them all behind the hummus and black olives again, NO ONE here likes hummus or olives. heh heh heh
What started out kind of gloomy/rainy this morning is now blaring sunny here!

Am in Eastgate Square/East Hamilton this afternoon. Was looking at Fortino's kitchenwares and such. Some bakeware pans are on sale. Four prints for the 3ply dinner napkins 50ct/$5. Almost bought one. Went to check for Royale 3ply dinner napkins-not sold (same with Food Basics Ancaster, it no longer carries the dinner napkins only the 1ply 120ct luncheon ones). Cashmere 3ply napkins are sold for $4.99. Noticed that PC pop is 99cents. I just loaded my new offers and I have a 200 pts offer this week. Will use it at my local store.

Homesense at Eastgate only has the queen sets of flannel (Lameirinho) in stock. At least shoppers have four colours to choose from: white, soft pink, putty-med. beige, seaglass green. No full/double sets. I went to Sears (there are some comforters and some sheet sets on sale) but no Ibex flannel in stock. So I'm going to see if Bed L& Bath Warehouse (aka Hamilton's Target store) has any flannel I can live with for $39.99 or I'm returning to Sears for a $25 before taxes comforter and be done with the warm sheet chase.

Was happy to get my LCBO Food & Drink magazine last night. Chapters/Indigo fans-the coupon (inside the front cover of the gift guide bagged with the magazine) is good for 25% off in-store (but not kiosk orders and some other exclusions) this weekend or $5 off online-min $50 purchase is required.

I got one ticket for Lotto Max tonight-want a spree!

I am struggling health wise this week, my doctor changed my meds and they are not fun at all. I am so dizzy and nauseous, I started them on Tuesday and the only good thing about it is I have lost 5 pounds in 4 days. I was feeling so good on my other ones but they just weren't keeping my blood pressure low enough in my right arm, today i am 110/80 in my right arm which is great and 76/60 in my left, which is not good. I will see in her a week and a half but if this keeps up I may go to walk in clinic. I am home alone for 5 days, the boys are hunting and I have spent the day lying down or on the computer. I am a go go go person and frankly I haven't even driven since Wednesday, I just don't trust that I am not going to faint. i was hoping to give the house a really good pre Christmas clean but it isn't happening today, I am hoping this is just an adjustment period for the meds and tomorrow will be a better day.
I have a 65th birthday party to go to tomorrow night for a dear friend but not sure if I will be able to drive as it is out of town, perhaps I will make a phone call and see if I can hitch a ride with someone that isn't planning on staying too late!
