Drove back tonight, not a bad drive but some how my email went insane well I was driving and a manager stepped in to try to sort it out and well it is a bit of a mess now. Hopefully I have it straighten out.

All I wanted to do was come home take a nice shower and relax, well that didn't happen.

Hello folks! Ho hum day. I took 4 prs. Of pants that I used to wear long ago when I was size 16 before to the sewing lady. She is going to take the legs in to update them as they are in perfectly good shape. I always liked them. 4 pairs - same except for colour. Used to make getting ready for work easy in the morning.
She did a quick free fix on a rip in dh's down jacket. He was beginning to look like a hen house in a fox raid!
He'll be heading to London tomorrow for an extended CT Scan to see if they can't get a handle on what has been happening with him.
I picked up some Sabra hummus on sale for $3.79 with a $3.00 manager's sale coupon on it so .79.

Also went to another SDM and got a gluten free Nature's Path cereal also with a $3.00 manager's sticker so paid $1.49 for it.

I went to the OSPCA and bought a crocheted cupcake with catnip in it to support their "cupcake day" to give to my brother' cat who doesn't like me much.

I also finished calling references for an applicant for our ministerial position and mailed a coupon train.

Also dropped in to the vet's to pick up a new pharamone collar for our pup and picked up probiotics since he's on antibiotics at the moment.

Since it's garbage day tomorrow, I am heading to the basement to see if anything needs turfing.

    Check in later.

So glad to see Mrs. Sunshine back and also Granger!

FB did not have the pork loin so FIL was nice enough to stop at WM so I could price match, very grateful as I was going to pick up this evening while ds2 had his appointment but his appointment was cancelled SO grateful I didn't procrastinate and got the pork today. 6 rib pork roast, packaged into 16 meals (various sizes in ziplocs) = average of $3.67 per meal....HAPPY DANCE!!!

    Wishing everyone a great evening.

Last night baby boy slept from 10:30pm - 7:30am. Baby girl went to sleep at 11pm and she still isn't up for the day. I'm thinking about waking her just to try and keep her on a similar schedule to her brothers. I woke up at 2am and checked on the twins, but I got 8hrs sleep last night. It feels good. I've got all sorts of things to do today, but I have already started on some of it.

Morning! Crappy day here, almost freezing rain this morning. And calling for snow tonight. Hope exams for highschool go on as scheduled. Tonight's dinner is all the leftovers! DS will have last night's leftovers- pork roast with gravy and perogies. Lots of meat pie left for everyone else. Will make a salad to use up the romaine (that I got for free SCOP) DS will clean his room tonight then we are going to the arena to watch his friends game Told him I would treat him to a blizzard on the way (our DQ has BOGO free with a food bank donation )

I eventually woke baby girl after she had been sleeping for 10hrs straight. Baby boy had been up for 2hrs already, so he nursed and went down for a short nap while I fed baby girl breakfast. I've pumped milk so that I can make roast beef baby food later today. I've also re-cleaned the baby bullet because it hasn't been used in a very long time. We just finished mixing up oatmeal fruit squares and they are now in the oven. We had someone ask dh last night if he could come over around supper time today to play Magic the Gathering with dh. This young guy has never been to our house, so I need to do some extra cleaning today. I'm hoping to fold and put away the three loads of laundry that are waiting in the baskets. Tonight is our 3yr old's gymnastics and tonight dh has a Mason's meeting and the are usually quite long. I'll update later with my progress. It's so nice to have a working computer again.

    Good afternoon, everyone.

Had a busy day yesterday. I was adjusting the settings on my Mom's camera & didn't realize I'd brought it back home with me (I don't think Lily dog put the case in my bag, but ya never know, I wouldn't put it past here). This was an issue, cause she's leaving town (at the airport right now) to see her friend & help them celebrate their 50th anniversary. As Mom's friend put it - she's the only one left alive who attended their wedding, so Mom is the only witness that they were indeed married. There's a big party planned for Sat in Miami (yes, I'm jealous that she gets to go somewhere warm, although I'll be off somewhere warm soon too - more later).

Wouldn't have been so busy, had I not had a theatre fix in the afternoon. I missed the original run, so I was thrilled to be able to see a remount of 12 Angry Men. It's one of the best productions I've ever seen. The theatre is set up with seats on either side of the stage, very intimate for 250ish seats. The only sad thing is that I missed the fun from the original production - at one point, there was a water feature when the rain starts, but too many patrons got splattered, so they make do with sound and light now. I highly recommend the show to anyone who can make it down here.

Now, about my little vacation plans. Back before Xmas (and my very expensive vet bill!), I found a really good deal on a quick trip to Vegas. I love Vegas. No, I don't gamble, I just love the noise and the lights and the pretty shiny things all around. So, I convinced bff (the chauffeur and my cruise buddy) to go. And, in less than 2 weeks, I'll be hanging out in Coney Island, walking past a pyramid and watching water dancing in a fountain from the top of the Eiffel Tower all in one afternoon.

I've always hated having debt, but I figure it's better to have fun while I still have energy to enjoy myself. With all the health issues I've had the last couple of years, ya never know when it will be too much to travel, so I'll just have to chip away at the debt slowly (and add to it, sigh) while I live a bit of the high life.

Better get going, lots of errands to run, critters to play with, cookies to bake. The fun never ends around here.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

I have a problem and would like suggestions. I have a Rubbermaid style container that came with my baby bullet and it is for freezing portions of baby food. I left it in the freezer too long and it has a strong smell. I have already washed it and soaked it with hot water and dish soap. I was thinking about putting a bunch of baking soda in it with the lid on. Any other baby friendly ideas?

So far I have spent most of my day making food. Roast beef baby food, oatmeal fruit squares, beef vegetable soup is simmering on the stove, plus I made lunch for our 3yr old and I. I guess I will be spending a bunch of time this afternoon cleaning and working on my fundraiser that is only 7 days away.
