Zehrs had sirloin tri-tip roasts on for $3.99/lb so I picked up a few...roasted our way up to 70% humidity in the house. Good call! Anyway we had asparagus with that too.

has anyone ever been fooled by that Manwich stuff in a can? I thought it was kind of like " chili " so I got 2 cans ( .99 each I think ? ) thinking the guys might like that stuff. I opened the cans and it was all just a sauce ( liquidy! ) , soooo hilarious!!
So I pressure cooked up 4 sirloin tip steaks that were diced into bite sized pieces, added lots of dice onions, celery, peppers, and carrots. Mixed it all together and they thought the Sloppy Joe's were delicious, I just laughed. Won't be buying that crap again.
Thank goodness I soaked plenty of beans overnight and today made up a big ole roastpan of chili!! Also baked up 24 cornbread muffins with all beef hot dogs cut into pieces baked into them. Now THAT was yummy!!

Picnic ham done in slowcooker with rootbeer, mustard, and garlic; roasted potatoes, carrots, and onions; corn.
Note to self: never buy a picnic ham again unless it was like two bucks a kilo. So much waste, not the best meat.

..steaks are soooo expensive here when not on sale...yesterday I found some on sale 30% off (prime rib of course!) so I picked up a few+ for the freezer so might have a BBQ this evening if the weather cooperates. Hopefully not too windy!! caesar salad...I have a couple of mangoes that are beyond ripe so might try a mango salsa ..maybe a potato packet. I'm hungry right now so everything sounds good time for mashed avocado on pumpkin & sunflower toast
