I don't know what is for dinner. In my house, the short order cook is short tempered, because he just experienced one of those I told you so moments with the lovely & graceful lady of the house.
All this over a lawnmower? LOL!!
I'm think I will yank a casserole out of the freezer & make a salad.

Porkchops and Chix. with Mushroom sauce and Fresh Mushrooms, Hashbrowns and Mixed Veg. Guess I'd better giddy up and put it on. LOL.
Will be back on here later unless the movie wins out.

For supper last night, sauteed mushrooms and onions with spaghetti and tomato sauce.
Birthday cheesecake for dessert - yum!
Tonight's supper will be almost the same as our brunch - it's our Easter, so we will be having:
baked ham
two kinds of ham garlic sausage
Babka and Paska Easter breads
with butter
boiled eggs
grated beets with horseradish
green onions
creamed cottage cheese
- and my husband made 'egg cheese' - it's awesome!
These are all the things which were in the Easter basket pictured below, which was blessed yesterday. The blessed foods need to be eaten first, then we have the rest...
For supper, I'll add potato salad, and make devilled eggs.

^^ so lovely Nat!
I have much to do ( cook) to get the weeks meals ready yet here I sit waiting for the spark to kick my butt in the kitchen.
DD's meals need to be prepared and portioned out into servings. Yesterday after getting home from the movies I did at least make her a pan with 6 servings of her fav, Shepherd's Pie ( but of course all within the guidelines of her diet restrictions) I even had DH smell the finished product and he could not believe how good it smelled. I told him hands off! lol
So today I am preparing the fresh veg ( savoy cabbage, broccoli, red pepper, carrots, mushroom, onion and spinach ) to put into a stir fry that I will add brown vermicelli noodles and grilled shrimp to. It will be a one pot dish in the end , easy to serve.
The Mama Sita chicken thighs are all prepared ( marinated from weeks ago ) and skewered in the freezer, so I might thaw and BBQ them today too, and make one pot of brown rice, steam up the rest of the fresh green beans to go with.
Or I might just sit here a bit longer!

Baby back pork ribs on the BBQ! They aren't the best cut of baby backs its probably why they were so cheap at nofrills! I was kind of lazy and didn't properly trim them! I slow cook them with apple smoke and rub them with my memphis rub recipe!
They were pretty good!$450 in amazon.ca gift certificate and counting Thanks! to Swagbucks! click the link below to join!

Never mind what was for dinner because it was more chicken, lol. I got a crap load of chicken thighs and put in my freezer. However for breakfast when I get home I'm gonna have a couple burgers and some crispy fries. I'll eat about 8am and then let that digest for a bit and be in bed by 10.30am..Gotta watch at least 1 cosby show at 10am,lol.

Yesterday was our Easter so I made
Ham, roasted potatoes, cabbage salad, cheese burek (which is like a cheese pie, filled with feta cheese), and marinated roasted red peppers. For dessert I made a chocolate mouse pie.
Tonight I am thinking of something with the left over ham...not sure what though

Dinner was very simple yet tasty: veggie patties (with buns for dh), mashed potatoes, mixed veggies, lentils, salad.
