Good morning, not much of a sleep, but then, what's new?

Hot yesterday, even hotter today with humidex getting to 34 - it's going to be a yucky week. So ICK.

Our son came over for supper yesterday, so a visit with him is always wonderful - but he had to leave earlier than usual, he was just so overheated - he just couldn't cool down here, so wanted to get home to have a shower.
I guess at his work, it's horribly hot - in the shop, there are those big overhead fans that commercial places have, plus other fans all around the shop, but he says when you are stuck working under a truck for example, you get no air, and it's awfully hot.

@dededi , thank you for your prayers for my brother, bless your heart. He's been fighting this full-on diabetes since 1980, all the ups and downs of it, and it seems everything is going wrong now and that worries me so much.
I hope and pray he has enough "fight" left in him to win another battle.

Nothing much on my plate today, and it's so gorgeous out there! Jenny and I may be spending some quality time together on the swing today doing not much of anything.

Good morning kids.
I had a great night's sleep, 10 hours, and feel almost normal again, whatever that is. lol
But, since I lost yesterday to sleeping most of it, I'm really busy today. I'm having friends over for a BBQ, and I haven't cleaned the house, done my shopping, and I was going to bake a pie last night. That didn't happen. So probably won't be around much. I guess that's normal for me in the summer.

I hope every1 has a fantastic day.
For those of you who work, maybe eat your lunch outside. It's beautiful.

I just caught up on the news....omg, those stupid people bumping into moving cars, crashing into posts, meeting a complete stranger at 12 midnight (she's 19....wtf??!!) and getting groped all for the sake of some stupid game??!!

I am just getting ready for my Treatment Tuesday Day. I had breakfast, took the drugs that I take before the study drug & in about an hour or so, I will take the drugs that will hopefully shrink or keep these tumours from growing in my lungs.

omgoodness yes!! I was just as much in the dark about this " game " as most people do that have lives?? I hope this nonsense passes fast. On the news tonight they reported that many parents may be unaware they will be hit with a huge cell phone bill ( their kids are playing this non stop I guess? ) and because the game is played outdoors ( no WiFi ) I think you use up the data? That will be a tough pill to swallow.

Lynn, I was able to keep the house cool enough - just kept everything shut up right from the morning with fans on, then late aft put the a/c on, so evening and night were bearable. The heat is going to be with us into next week.
