How do you ladies price things when you sell online?

I was able to get through yesterday without any cough drops, so that was encouraging. Having a bad cough is painful but even worse as I feel a sharp pang on my stomach each cough. The bottom of my bump has been feeling pains for weeks. I don't remember this with the first baby, so maybe it's something to bring up with the doctor next week.

This baby has been a bit painful since yesterday as I keep feeling some sharp edge being poked somewhere. Maybe it's an elbow or a knee? Both? It really loves poking things.

Up again at 6 am with hubby to get the final coat of stain on the back deck. There is construction started across the street from us and the big trucks rolled in at 7 am - thankfully the dust is blowing the other way this morning!!! Deck should be dry soon - so good to get this off our list!

Bread and buns, cinna buns in the oven now - want to get this done before the heat wave strikes tomorrow. Supposed to get to 30 C today so not too bad. Our house stays cool, even without air conditioning - thankful for good insulation. The warmest it has been at night in the house is 26 but we keep all our windows closed during the day and then open them at night. We live in a small home (705 sq ft on each of the three floors) with lots of windows so the breeze is lovely at night. Previous home was a nightmare during the heat - we used to escape to my parent's place or live in the basement then.

Had to pick up some things for the office so happy I had a decent SDM offer. Spend $50 get 12,000 pts! I now have enough for 3 top redemptions!!! Woohoo!!! So I will be watching the flyers in September/October and doing one to stock up the house on some supplies/groceries and one cologne sampler for $80 for Christmas .

We have some beautiful large spaghetti squash and we sampled our potatoes a couple days ago. Lots of cucumbers too.

Been working on pcs a lot lately. Love the bit of extra money it garners.

Home with stomach flu today. Got our water bill...had to call because i was seriously confused.... I was confused because it had consumption credits.... It turns out our meter hasnt been read in "quite some time" and they've been estimating our bill. So we have almost 3 months in water bill credit. Happy birthday to me.

    Going camping this weekend

I am having cravings for all the things you can't eat while pregnant: poached eggs, sushi, bread dipped with honey.... I ate plain bread with some grapes this morning, but it's not quite the same.

People (DH's family and strangers) have been telling me that they're "hoping" that this one will be a boy. My usual response is that we will be very happy if it's a girl. I'm not sure why people want a family of four to have one boy and one girl child, though it does sound like a Norman Rockwell painting.

So far, I've had no guesses as to whether or not it's a girl or a boy, but in about two weeks time, we will know (maybe)!

You're not supposed to have honey while pregnant. Babies aren't allowed to have honey until they are 1yr old.

I'm up with baby boy right now. He is wide awake, but pretty happy. Yesterday "uh-oh" became his word and he has been singing it. I made a video clip that I sent to Dh and my younger sister. :D

I aced my First Aid, CPR/AED training yesterday. The babysitter did great with my kids and I quickly nursed the twins at lunch. I have a dental exam this morning and a dental cleaning tomorrow morning. By doing it this way I am able to get it done without having to pay a babysitter because Dh is home with the kids. He starts work about 1hr later than most people. Our twins have their 1yr immunizations this afternoon, which is on my daycare kids scheduled day off.

A lady who only lives a few blocks away sold me a sealed box of our brand of D-drops for $5, which is about $10 more than it costs me at the grocery store. Dh and our son walked/ran all the way there and back.

It it finally rained some here last night, which was our first real rain in about 2wks. I have more vegetables than we can eat, except we could use more carrots and peas. The cucumber plans are getting established and producing. I'm happy that I found some people to buy zucchinis from me since I have an over abundance. Plus my daycare kids eat a bit of it too.

Good morning! A nice cool day here. Like leaving the house with the A/C off! Made a round of egg and cheese on toasted English muffins for everyone this morning.

I ran the dishwasher last night so will have to put it away tonight. Then will gather all the laundry and may start it tonight I think.
Bathrooms are clean! Dining room is clean just need to wash the hardwood floors in there. Next I need to tackle the family room. It needs to be completely cleaned. I want to move furniture and make sure the floors are washed everywhere. Will pick the next rainy day for that.

Dinner tonight- I'm not sure yet. Have to clean out the fridge and see what we need to use up so it may be one of those kind of nights.

-well hung a load out -as I have a serviceman coming to replace my water meter in the basement (free also ) so no cost to us -its pretty rusty maybe its 31 years old as the house is -anyway no water for 45 minutes when he comes -so I filled a few pots for my tea and hubby's coffee
-the only inconvience was taking my stockpile off the standing 4 shelf unit -I am going to be more organized this time and write what I have in a log and subtract when I use it
-I must have at least 18-greenworks or scrubbing bubbles trigger sprays -so not buying anymore and floor cleaner greenworks and mr.clean about 15 -and 15 bodywash-so it still is nice not to have to buy this stuff in with my regular groceries
-infact one deodorant must have fell behind the unit -lol I keep deodorant in drawers now -so maybe its a good thing I got to move my unit then I really saw what I had

There was a reason you had to move it! I am on the same boat- I have a list of a few things I'm not buying anymore of. But it sure is nice to go down to the basement to go shopping

I think we'll have to restock on produce, but other than that, I've never seen the Aveeno bodywash at my WM. I've looked, unless someone has already cleared the shelves. That generally happens by the time I go out on Saturday afternoon.

If it's unpasteurized there's a small risk of botulism: http://health.gov.on.ca/en/public/pu.../botulism.aspx

There's also a long list of fish and seafood that I can have occasionally, classified as low risk, or not at all because of the mercury content. I was also warned off soft cheeses, raw or undercooked eggs (over easy, sunny side up, poached, homemade mayonnaise, homemade ice creams and custards, homemade salad dressings, cookie dough, cake batter, etc.), deli meats, undercooked meat, hot dogs, sushi... The list might be a bit longer but those are the ones I remember. Sushi was the only one my family doctor said was fine, as long as I stay away from the high mercury fish, and only buy from reputable places. That one I will be staying away from, only because it's almost impossible to tell how reputable a source is and bacteria are invisible to us.

However, I have requested an extremely large, all you can eat sushi platter after delivery from DH, when I'm conscious and my mother is far, far away. No, in all likelyhood, I will stay away from sushi for the first year or two after the new LO's birth or at least until BF is over.

Well I don't like the news that I received at the dentist. $255 for the 18 X-rays that they take every 5yrs, plus dental exam. Dh's coverage is 85%, but we have to pay upfront due to all the dental clinics in town doing it the same way. Good news is I don't have any cavities. Anyway, I have misshapen teeth that were filled with amalgamate fillings years ago. One molar has 2 smaller cracks and they are talking about a crown. I could do it before the tooth cracks and gets damaged further, but they don't know if or when it will crack further. Ive never had a crown, etc and have had several bad experiences with dentists in the past. They have 2 dentists at this office and I got the new one today. I'm used to the other guy. I also have a top tooth, second from the front that has a small amalgamate filling due to bing misshapen and it has a small crack down towards the gum line. The dentists wasn't too concerned about it. I'll have to talk with Dh about it when he gets home from work tonight.

edit: It wasn't until a couple years ago that I learned that amalgamate fillings have mercury in them. They expand and contract with hot and cold, which is what cracked my teeth. It really sucks. I have a high calcium diet and brush my teeth with my electric toothbrush, but it wasn't enough.

edit: After having time to digest my dental information I have realized that this cracked tooth is the one that a different new doctor drilled a few years ago on the side of the tooth that is now cracked. She drilled and filled on the inside of two mollars that have fillings in the middle of them. I posted on here about that bad dental experience before. She said it was cavities, then after she drilled them without freezing she then admitted that it was staining that she had just drilled out of my perfectly healthy teeth. I was swearing at her in my head the entire time that she worked on my teeth. This filling fell out within a month, got replaced, and now requires a crown. That dental experience is now turning into a $2,000+ dollar dental mistake and people wonder why I don't trust dentists. Dh has his own bad dental experiences, including with this other office. Our current dental office is still working to fix some of their mistakes, but we all know that damage to teeth is permanent. I'm trying hard to make sure that my children don't end up with the same bad experiences and stress about dentists that I have.

@SassyAshley : Did you get your back looked at, maybe by a chiropractor or a masseuse if your plan covers it?

@Angela273 : DH echoes your dentist issues as he's had a really bad dental experience fresh out of college. His parents had never taken him to the dentist in his life so he had many thousands to pay out of pocket in his 20s. I've also had those mercury amalgams early on and have some cracked molars. My current dentist replaced them with the resin, but they will eventually have to be replaced with a crown. However, that has it's own challenges, since my teeth are too close to the gums in the back and he doesn't think a crown will work in my mouth. I'm holding off, as there's no imminent danger, but eventually, something will have to happen.

I posted in the PC Plus forum, but thought I'd post my points woes here as well. They are really sticking with the coupons can't count towards your purchase price when you call in. I left a PC points inquiry on the website for my card and DH's card on Saturday afternoon. There was no response to one, and then the other, they claimed that I had input the wrong date, but when the CS rep checked, it was correct on the electronic form. In both cases, they didn't want to give points for a coupon that I had used, or if your total is not within $0.98 of the dollar value, it won't get counted towards your points.

I'm not sure if these are the rules going ahead, but I spoke to two CS reps who both had the same response. Before Saturday, coupons seemed like a form of payment, but now, they're really being strict on what does and doesn't count. I didn't get points on one of my items. Usually, when you do an inquiry, they add the points to your total, but leave the item on your account. Theoretically, you could go back to the store and buy another one for the points, but they marked it as used in my account.

@Granger : Have you ever tried the Mr. B's Sketchers warehouse sale? I've never been, but they advertise shoes for the family each year. I also found that some Sketchers from the clearance section of The Shoe Company are specially made for clearance and not sold in their stores. That was the reason why I couldn't do a proper exchange with a defective pair of runners, but they did credit me the selling price for the item, which turned out to be the "clearance" price of the shoes. That makes me wonder if there are any real "deals" in the Shoe Company clearance section.

Sweet Sparrow, I got lucky the pain was gone the next day. I think my issue is spending so much time in cars and wherever I can find a place work stations which does include sitting with my laptop on my lap at times in chairs with no support.

Angela I admit I hate dentist, my last one dropped as a patient after I fought them on wanting to re do work I just had done within the last 8 months at their offices and being told "oh don't worry. your insurance will pay it." I felt since they did the work and wanted to re do it within a year it should be free.
