Good morning everyone.

Cold one today and we are supposed to get some snow. Why is it always windy on recycling pickup day? My street is already a mess and they don't usually pick up until midday.

Finished my project and got it into the printer just before they closed so just waiting for the proofs but other than that, just catching up on emails today.

Good morning, everyone....lots of catching up to do here...

We got home yesterday afternoon from our trip to London and Avon's late Husband's memorial service; to summarize that service: any one of us would be proud to have so many people attend our own service and say the beautiful things about that wonderful man who brought such joy to so many people. It was so nice for me to put faces to the names I've heard so much about, but wished the circumstances would have been different. What loving family and friends, Avon has there.
My dear Friend, thank you for letting us share such an intimate experience with your loved ones.

So, @walkonby , your birthday was on our travel day yesterday! I hope it was wonderful, spent with your sweet family!!
@Natalka , boy you and Milan sure have been through the wringer lately! I hope both of you are on the road to recovery and will be all better very soon!
@22hicks , ohhhhhh, lilacs; I agree, I can just smell them from that picture you posted. I tried to do a painting of them since they mean so much to me (my Mom used to fill our home with them in the spring!), but I'll need a bit (?) more practice before I attempt them again. I hope you have only good news from your surgeon today, Sweets!
@cabmonk , I understand you're having an interview soon? I meant to go back to see what it was for and when but now I don't want to leave this page and lose, it, so.....enlighten me, please? Wishing you the BEST of luck with it! You always seem to interview well, so go get it, Cabbie!!

I know, I felt the same way!

Well, my son is all better, he went back to work yesterday.

I'm still crap - though for now at least it doesn't feel like my head is blasting off with pain (yesterday was horrid with that, I was trying to stifle coughs because they hurt my head so much). My eyes are better, which is a good thing. I woke up with my right ear totally blocked, and that's kinda gross.

I'm just SO hungry! I hope to find something in this house that I could actually eat for lunch; I just haven't felt like eating, nothing is appealing - perhaps because I have so little taste? But now I have that gnawing feeling in my gut, so I need something other than tea or an occasional cracker.
