There won't be crocuses before St. Patrick's Day this year (just like last year) so I am watching for sprouting action next week.
Tulips-hang in there!2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

Spotted two slender green leaves near where the crocuses usually reside but am not certain they are crocus leaves-maybe Siberian scilla or spider grass? One tulip's leaves are above the melting snow again!
Noticed while clearing snow in afternoon the local raccoons either did lunch on the front walk and messed the walk too (droppings) or were busy last night. Took a bottle of cayenne pepper and dusted it all around the house and flowerbeds. No more messes from you.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

@Newfiescreech -you may get lots of flowers-they are waiting on Ms. Sunshine to deliver the melt!
Three crocuses are closed like store doors but there are about 20 scilla flowers scattered and open on the lawn and in the front flowerbed. No crocuses along the foundation (maybe not their year or bulbs are tired). While collecting fallen branches, I noticed white/pink buds on the double peony bush! Tulip leaves are a few inches up but no blooms as yet. Weekend will be mild so I expect a show of crocuses then.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

Things are popping up all over the place. Snowdrops are finished now. Daffodils are next, a couple more weeks and they should be blooming, maybe less once the warmer weather gets here [22 on Monday!!]
Now I just have to get out there and start cleaning up the mess. The lawn is still a swamp though, I have to tread very carefully. I saw trees in the neighborhood the other day that have just barely started sprouting their leaves. I need my catalpa tree to do the same so I can have my privacy curtain back. Don't like looking at the neighbor's windows. Unfortunately, the catalpa is always one of the last to get its leaves.

Nothing flowering yet, but my red tulips, green onions, and red rhubarb are growing.

I have not seen the three crocuses open as yet. The snow should be melted by now. Tulip leaves are 2/3 up but no flowers.
I noticed in a nearby neighbourhood that some daffodil leaves sheltered under a stand of pine trees are fully grown and the flower bulbs will become more visible soon.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

Four open crocuses as of Saturday morning but one of the flowers was lying sideways. Lots of Siberian squill, like a mini floral parade, on the front lawn. Little clusters of small purple flowers along front of house.
Dad was trimming branches-there's a willow tree with full catkins somewhere.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

On my evening walk last night:
Noticed one yard a few surveys over has daffs about to bloom-first set of the flowers with buds visible that I've seen this month. Also saw random crocuses on lawns or greenspaces nowhere near a flower bed-either singles or trios. What a fun sight to discover last night! They were "waving" hello to me.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.
