good afternoon all....Not a terribly exciting weekend here, managed to see 2 films, Life and Beauty and The Beast....LOVED the latter, was a tad underwhelmed by the first.
In the kids flick when Gaston falls to his death a young child blurted out " ha..ha " in Nelson's character voice from Simpson's and the whole audience in the theatre laughed!
Getting a filling repaired tomorrow, so started the fretting today...par for the course.
Hope everyone working has a half decent Monday!!

Ugh. Dentists. Hate them. Take a T3 or a couple xtra strength Tylenols before you go so they can start working by the time you get called into the torture chamber. All the best, @walkonby !

Good afternoon kids... took everything I had to get downstairs as promised, but I am down here now... The rain, the dampness... Man oh Man... ya know if I fell off this deck 25 - 30 years ago, I'd probably be 100 percent... Man, age sucks... I was talking to a Buddy the other day, and I said we should start off old, and work backwards, because eventually we'll end up with the same problems... Anyways that's my rant for today... Hope YOU are all having a GREAT day for a Monday....



Anyone know of good sites to get recipes....

Had to stay in Cambridge an extra night tonight because I just couldn't make the drive home.

Hm.....well, it's INTERESTING, that's for sure! It stars Brad Pitt, Cate Blanchette....

It's exactly as you had mentioned....a baby is born very old and progressively gets younger, more vibrant, excited about feeling so much better as they years progress!!

It was released in 2008.

...a boy was born with the appearance and physical maladies of an elderly man. The baby's mother died after giving birth, and the father, Thomas Button, abandons the infant on the porch of a nursing home. Queenie and Mr. "Tizzy" Weathers, workers at the nursing home, find the baby, and Queenie decides to care for him as her own.

The film went on to receive thirteen Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture, Best Director for Fincher, Best Actor for Pitt and Best Supporting Actress for Taraji P. Henson, and won three, for Best Art Direction, Best Makeup, and Best Visual Effects.

Hello every1. I hope you all had a good day.

Mine was horrible

It started out ok with some workmen doing some work around here.
Then had to go to a funeral for a friend, which was very moving.
I get in the car, and the engine light comes on, so I'll have to take the car in in the morning.
Just after the funeral, I got a call that a really close friend died suddenly. So, off to spend some time with her family.

I'm exhausted, and emotionally drained.

Anyway, just wanted to touch base.
@avoncallingu, I hope those migraines ease up, and soon. They can make your life miserable; you just can't function.

@walkonby, hope the dental visit went ok, and was relatively pain free.

@Redneck Charger, I hope tomorrow goes well. Chin up, you WILL get better. I know it's a long road, but with a positive attitude you'll get better.
