All Purpose Rant Away Thread - 3.2.1 GO!

I have a terminal ill cat - mouth cancer so we are using the scale for when its time to let her go. A few days ago she started meowing at 3am to 5am - loud deep meows and I mean deep meows to wake up the dead and I sleep with ear plugs - turns out she is deaf and losing it a bit due the tumor. I come home from work thinking ..this is the end, I guess tomorrow morning she will leave us and then she pigs out and eats and eats. She doesn't want to leave this earth. But the next in line - Jupiter is walking around this place strutting his stuff thinking I am the new king - the queen is dead..

@GoddessDigi you are doing what is needed to keep your family needs covered. Great job on the debt repayment! Hope you have some good friends and neighbours or community support to step in where your late relatives may have been able to help you. Good thing the kids' father is involved in their care as well. Your children will see how you are a role model and they certainly are going to get moneywise.

So sorry to hear about your terminal cat. I know about that terrible loud howling (meowing) sound in the middle of the night......my cat would do that from cancer pain. It is extremely difficult to make a decision about when to euthanize a beloved pet. I also thought it was the end and than she would start eating again, she had her good and bad days. I picked one of her good days and now Olive is in peace.

Why do stores advertised contests such as Shoppers and than not give out the entry card with a $10 purchase? I have lost track of how many times I have come home only to realize that I didn't get my bonus points, scratch card, etc.

Right now I am using the Feline Quality of Life Scale and every days I see what her scale is. Last year we lost Rascal and I waited too long and this time we don't want to prolong her life if she is in pain. With mouth tumors I think it will happen really fast maybe another week or two. I have had her for 18 years and she has been with me through everything so I want her to be happy. I love my Crystal so much

I'm sorry I lost P-cat and B-cat in under a year and both were nearly 20 when they died. P had been steadily losing weight for a few weeks before she just died. B seemed to suffer a stroke(he was blind for about a year...got round using echo-location). I held P while she died. B lay on my feet suffering the smallest amount of human contact he could bear at anytime.

So sorry.I can't imagine how you are feeling because if my dog Thor even under the weather I am worried. But he is our first pet . Hope today is a good day for her

She is still here and eating maybe two tablespoons or more a day plus treats. She looks an absolute mess, losing fur, tongue sticking out but the tumor has moved to the other side of her mouth. She has stopped meowing since now we leave on a light in the living room at night and she sleeping in the closet and other cats leave her alone. She surprised me because we thought on Sunday she was going to leave us but nope still walking around and purring.

So sorry.I can't imagine how you are feeling because if my dog Thor even under the weather I am worried. But he is our first pet . Hope today is a good day for her

Holy Bat Crap, can life not give us a break?

Stove is on the fritzs ( actually had sparks coming out of the one burner)
well water has been muddy for 2 months now, unusable for anything.
DH and I are both sick( DH with his cancer recovery and me nauseous all the stinking time/can't walk on left foot)
I lost all my Facebook and Youtube accounts because of stupid updates and I can't get in touch with Apple to fix things.
And we are down to our last $$ with no income.
WE ARE SO SCREWED!!!!!!
and that was my rant for awhile.
