Good evening! Had a nice relaxing sunday, ribs for dinner with corn on the cob (30c @ No Frills) Found a textbook for Ashlyn that's like new for $100, which is a lot, but it's $175 at the bookstore and currently on back order. I managed to find her another one on kijiji for cheaper than renting used, so I'll be picking that up tomorrow.

I just grated up a container of zucchinis that were taking up space on my kitchen table. I do not own a food processor, so I do everything by hand. I grated 2 cups with a large hole grater as they were smaller zucchinis. Bigger zucchinis can get somewhat tough, so I grate them with the small hole grater. I did up 4 cups with the small hole grater and my arms hurt for it.
I need to clean house tomorrow morning. We have everything for our son to start Kindergarten on Wednesday, I just need to sit down to label it and put everything in his bag.Last edited by Angela273; Mon, Sep 4th, 2017 at 12:35 AM.

I can relate to everyone paying tuition fees-DH and I just dropped DD off at UBC-long, slow drive home through an active forest fire but we got home last night. DD had that deer in the headlights look when we left-but she seems to be managing just fine. It will be strange not to have a kid at home after almost 28 years of child rearing but she will be back soon enough at Thanksgiving.

Today is our wedding anniversary. We booked a babysitter for the evening. Dh and I are going on a picnic, my suggestion. I'm picking up a free rotisserie chicken from Sobeys for the kids and babysitter. It's free because they ran out of rotisserie chickens during business hours, so I requested the free coupon. I'm also picking up a free pair of purple ski pants for twin girl, I just need to sew the straps on better because they are coming undone.
Someone new contacted me to buy garden veggies.Last edited by Angela273; Mon, Sep 4th, 2017 at 11:44 AM.

DS is ready for school tomorrow. We just picked up his indoor runners. And a few new clothing items.
I just have have to toss the roast in the oven for dinner. I peeled the potatoes and cleaned the green beans this morning. Kitchen is clean and will be easy clean up after dinner. Going for a drive now to enjoy this fall weather

I'm in Niagara Falls-any hints for neat, cheap, fun places to shop? Not much time to do that. My tomorrow will be Fun and full. Heading to Shaw Festival Theatre in the morning for a back stage tour and then over to the States to post some things to my husband's kids.
Some shopping there if I can fit it in.
Happy back-to-school for all you who have kids or are teachers. Anyone heard from Granger lately?
