My rant is also grocery store-related. Sobey's, but especially Superstore often run sales of buy X-amount of this item to get the sale price. I don't want four of item X to get the sale price as I will never use item X again. So I just walk away from item X. I have walked away from more things than I can count because of these stupid sales.

When sobeys was a separate entity and had bogo, they used to put the price of the items in the flyer. Safeway never did, too bad Sobeys followed that model. Here, the Co-op store puts prices in the flyer for BOGO items.

Jays,, I hate multiple pricing, too!

Oh @Natalka worse than that was when one of the store flyers ( I forget who did this now ) listed the price in BIG BOLD print but the word near it said save .
So naturally I would look at that " save $1.99 " and think that the price of the item was a $1.99

    I complained HUGELY about that.

i have a growing dislike for classical music.. my neighbour loves it.. and the volume will start out appropriate.. but then it will creep creep creep up so it is near deafening.. there is enough noises going on in my head already to have to try to tune out i really don't need another one tossed in the mix!

I have a similar distaste and for a similar reason:

There are enough VOICES in my head that all that muttering coupled with the orchestra in the background is just too much. However, if the music has lyrics it's fine, because all of those voices sing along in harmony... well except this one annoying chick who sounds like Harley Quinn, and is probably just as psycho, and gives me that twitch from time to time.... but I digress.

for me it's the household noises (fridge, computers, light bulbs buzzing odd noises of pipes) along with the ringing in my ears (been going on for years, just have to live with it) and the whoosh whoosh in my right ear (waiting to see specialist about that one..) attached with the noises of outdoors and everything else it's really hard to tune out yet another thing.. i can't watch TV while my husband has the microwave going or making his lunch in the kitchen for example it's too many noises from too many places

That drives me mental too. Don't get my mother-in-law started on this one...she will lose her sh$t if she has to talk about these stupid buy X number of things to get X cheaper price. It pisses me off more when they do that but in tiny tiny print so you get one, go to checkout, get charged full price (not the deal price). I said they need to make the tags bigger and more clear. Customer service person said "yup, we tell them that but so far nothing". Grrrrr.

Metro (garbage bags!) and Sobeys seem keen on the selling of 3s of things to get the deal price this year. It will only work on canned beans for me and not much else (unless instant noodles are involved). Like you have posted, sometimes it is easier to walk away from those signs and shop the deal elsewhere.

Went to pm brocolli at RCSS...$.88at food basics...they said I couldn’t have it for that price because it had 2 stalks so had to charge me $.88 per stalk? Never had that happen before.

Damn, it's been a bummer of a week and I need to rant.
1- I can't get into see my physiatrist nurse for at least 6 weeks #%#%#%%
2- The meds I am on are turning my teeth to chalk ( no not meth, my anti-depressants)
3- While out sledding with the hubby, I caught too much air and slammed my head on the handlebar. Even with the helmet on, I still managed to break a front tooth in half.
    Just call me Wolfie
