Happy for Tuesdays pleasant weather. I took the afternoon off work and planted 60 cloves, that i had saved from my July harvest. Hopefully it wasnt too late.
And made these lovelies with garden lavender. Yes I aim to sell these in the future but after shoulder surgery!

Getting excited for spring and thinking about seedling planting. I still have enough heirloom seeds so will plant those. They are 2 years old so I will plant 2 seeds per planter just in case.

Very exciting! I started leek, parsley, and marigold seeds this past week because I couldn't resist the temptation any longer! :D

I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone's gardening pictures! I've just started to harden off my transplants (our little house more resembles a greenhouse than a home right now). It will be so nice to have everything planted and settled outside. Have to deal with the weeds and quack grass in the raised beds and gardens first, though. Arhg.

I am hardening off my transplants now. My DH and I weeded and double dug the garden yesterday, and added some organic soil as well. It is ready to go!

Started gardening a bit late this year as we were travelling until mid April so late getting the heirloom seeds planted. This past weekend the raised beds were prepared and soil amended with manure and new bare root strawberry plants were planted. Decked boxes with herbs and lettuces coming along nicely. Fall planted garlic is well set.

We moved last August. And we’ve been hit over and over and over with car crap. House crap. Pet crap... lol so the plan to get my raised beds started now won’t happen but hopefully done by the end of the season for next year
Anyway! We repurposed some old parts of a stage my grandparents gave us for planters. They will likely only last a season or two since ta not treated. But that’s alright. And then the rest in containers they gave us.
We moved before we could harvest anything from our old place! So I’m seriously hoping we get a decent yield this year lol.
I’m going to go to the dollar store and see if I can find some long plastic planters I can adhere to my chain link fence to plant snap please and climbing beans as well and herbs maybe lettuce as well

I have downsized my garden significantly this year. Last year I had about 15 containers along with my raised garden.
I found it took an huge amount of time to upkeep. With that also came more issues like pests, diseases and so on. So this year I am only planted in my raised bed-and only the veggies that I use the most.

Garden is fully planted and perennials doing well too. I ripped out the old strawberry plants and planted new ones (500).

@kidsteph , how often do you have to replace strawberry plants? 500 plants--that's amazing!!
